Upon entering the teak gate and landscaped grounds you'll find Campo de Sueños a hidden pearl in the humble town of Paraiso, near a string of beautiful beaches: Playa Negra, Callejones, Blanca, Junquillal, and Avellanas, Campo de Sueños is right on the Pacific Gold Coast; a mile from the beach; situated in the Nandamojo Valley (https://www.paradisecostarica.org/about-the-nandamojo-valley) nestled on an abundant aquifer. Our house can be reached almost all the way on a paved road via simple directions, in under 1.5 hours, door to door, from the Liberia International Airport. Food shopping available along the way. The rugged neighborliness of the local area is inviting and relaxing. The canopy of surrounding trees, a corridor to howler monkeys and home for birds of every color, and the occasional anteater who enjoy the green surroundings and lush blossoms bursting with color, are what drew us to the property. Very close to many amenities but outside the hustle bustle of tourism; peaceful but not isolated; private but not remote, the house is perfectly located to reap the benefits of both access and quiet.

The lines of house—a contemporary oasis—space of the main room, solid construction, and hand-made wood details are comfortable and calming. It has 3 individual and elegantly peaceful bedrooms (one king, one queen with low twin and one with a bunk bed: twin up, full down and additional twin) as well as open plan kitchen/living area leading to a veranda right on the pool and gardens, making it an ample family or small group accommodation. New spanish bathroom tile, toilets, showers, new kitchen re-modeled with custom wood cabinets, concrete island and extended wood dining table. The new pool and outdoor teak/local-stone shower, coral stone deck and green surrounding grasses and blossoms provide a sublime all-day-long environment for utter down-regulating. Ranches, fincas, forests, jungle and beaches in every direction invite local jaunts. Amidst this private low key local environment there are many hidden restaurants, spas and services of all kinds to enhance your experience and pleasure. Obliging tourist amenities can be found for any activity such as nearby surf lessons, paddle boarding, yoga, massage, and sunset horseback riding.

This area has much to offer without being overwhelming and selling in your face... Excellent restaurants nearby: Zaguate, Lochitos, La Ventana, La Vida Buena, Jalapeño Eatery and Market, Kon Tiki… and the best is aimless walking on miles of peaceful beaches.

The closest beach, Playa Callejones, is a small gem of peace and seclusion; easy to walk to Playa Negra a famous surf break and chill zone with a restaurant right on the beach. We were stunned that such a beautiful place was not overrun with tourists and spoiled.

Adjacent to the private pool is a substantial veranda with two hammocks a ceiling fan, dining table and chairs and a barbecue offering a place for comfortable pool-side meals, naps and options for hanging out.
