Hi Sean, thanks for your review. This homeowner has asked us to pass along the following response: - The mice situation has been remediated. There aren't mice in the house any longer. - The wood on the deck has been repaired, and guests will continue to enjoy the scenery from the deck. - The sofas have been replaced with very comfortable new couches - A new patio set has been purchased, so guests will enjoy sitting on the deck over meals - Our guest contact, Amy, was never notified via phone, text, or email. We wish you had reached out to her as the Guest Contact during your stay for any issues you needed to be addressed. Hi Lexi, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark and sincerely apologize for the mishap that occurred during your booking. We'd like to clarify that Evolve dropped the ball on communicating these issues to you, which resulted in the issues you experienced. This does not reflect the owner or property and Evolve takes full responsibility. The lack of hot water was due to an electrical issue with the well that has since been fixed. This homeowner goes above and beyond for their guests and we are confident that future travelers will have excellent experiences.

Hi Nadine, we're so sorry that you were unable to enjoy this lovely home! There was an unprecedented issue with both the heat and water ahead of your stay, so the homeowner canceled the booking in an abundance of caution. This issue has since been fixed and we hope that you keep us in mind for your future travels/the next time you visit Fairplay!
