This stay was our best vacation rental experience yet! The condo was immaculate and had everything we needed. The ocean view was so relaxing all day. The neighbors were friendly, too. Just an overall great experience.The location was great for exploring the entire island. Hopefully, we can return some day.

This place is AMAZING. We would stay here again in a heartbeat (and plan to!). As luck would have it (or rather, bad luck), my partner got injured during our time in Kona, shortly after arriving. We had to postpone all our fun plans and sightseeing because of her injury. It ended up being a perfect landing spot. The view was gorgeous, even from the couch where she spent most of her time, it was comfortable, clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The photos don’t do it justice — it’s even better in person! Jeanette and Michael also answered all our questions promptly and were great hosts. 10/10, no notes!

Location, Location ,Location!! Place was as advertised and views are amazing! Nice quiet complex that allows for perfect relaxation , but a short walk or shorter drive to the ocean front village of Kona for restaurant's, bars,and shopping!, Hosts where very communicative amd responsive. Would highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back again!!

Perfect stay! We loved this property and its beautiful view, pool/hot tub, chairs, umbrella, and KING size comfy bed. The host was very responsive and check in was easy. Right by the lively Kona strip and close to amazing beaches. Would definitely recommend!

The host is absolutely fantastic! Quick responses and does everything to make your stay comfortable and amazing. But nothing can beat the back lanai overlooking the grounds and straight to the ocean. Looked forward to every meal out there.

Kona Makai is our favorite place to stay in Kona with its lovely grounds, beautiful view, and quiet ambiance - and this our second time returning to Micheal’s wonderful vacation home. Amazing view and lots of special touches - we could spend our entire vacation on the lanai with my favorite basket chair. AC in the bedroom makes for a comfortable nights sleep and well stocked kitchen has everything you need. We hope to return and highly recommend

We loved our stay here! The condo had all the supplies we needed for some basic cooking. We especially loved the ocean view from the lanai! We were able to walk into town which was nice. The location felt safe and parking was secure. Would recommend!

The oceanfront sunsets at this property were spectacular! It was easy to communicate with the host, they were very responsive and helpful. We appreciated all the amenities provided; including beach gear, and spices & condaments-it helpped a lot. The property is very well maintained. Mahalo for a wonderful stay in paradise!
