The Lazy Lady. A cozy cabin retreat with beautiful views close to town.

Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy some much needed fresh air in this relaxing mountain retreat.

This charming, two story cabin, is located on a hillside in the West Village of Shaver Lake, just a 5 minute walk to downtown. With an updated kitchen, gas fireplace and washer/dryer, this three bedroom/two bathroom home has everything you need to create great memories for you and your family.

Downstairs you will find a modern kitchen, family room, bathroom and small bedroom with a full size bed. Enjoy some hot chocolate and popcorn as you cuddle up on the couch next to the gas fireplace and play board games or watch movies on the 50" flat screen TV (with DVD player). Large windows look out onto the front porch, which sits high in the trees, providing beautiful views in a relaxing setting.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms with queen beds, including a large master bedroom. In addition, there is a bathroom and bonus area with a pull out, full size, futon.

A large back deck provides a perfect place for kids activities while the adults enjoy relaxing on the front deck. This cabin is an ideal getaway for a family or two couples. Only minutes to the lake and 20 miles to China Peak, the opportunities abound. The stairs you climb to get to the cabin may be taxing, but the good things in life are worth the effort.

A Great Snow Trip

My family and I came from the valley to enjoy some time in the snow. We went skiing nearby, played board games, and enjoyed the warmth of the fire. The cabin was cozy, and we had a great time all around!

Fishing trip

Great stay! Home was roomy, beds comfortable. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Would definitely stay again.For those with mobility issues, the initial climb to the door and the climb to upstairs bedrooms are a bit steep. Our 78 yo family member made it slow and steady and was content to stay in and enjoy the cabin and the downstairs bedroom the entire stay.

Super Cozy and Peaceful

Loved this mountain getaway! As long as you are prepared to climb stairs, this will probably be one of the best mountain getaways you can find that is reasonably priced and centrally located. Loved our time there.

Cozy cabin

We had a great time here! The cabin was clean and cozy and check-in is super easy. The owner/host was so nice! The location is perfect to walk to one of the local restaurants. China Peak is about 25 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was absolutely beautiful, the locations, neighborhoods and walking distance to everything that you need. The place was very clean and was accommodating for our family of 5. You will not regret staying here, just like all the reviews said, it’s a five start cabin.

Great Cabin for a Weekend Getaway

Spent the weekend with my partner and some friends here and had a great time. The cabin is in a great location and is set up nicely for small groups. The two fireplaces were a plus and kept it plenty warm. Overall a great experience!
