Hibernation Station sits at the heart of Shaver Lake's popular West Village neighborhood, perched on a small hill high among the trees and serves as a prime launching point for your adventures into the Sierras. Shaver Lake is the perfect place to vacation. The climate is ideal with cool summers and mild winters. The list of activities is long and includes, hiking, fishing, skiing, sledding, boating, snowmobiling, horseback riding, and more!

When you rent our cabin, you will have the entire cabin during your stay.
You have access to the entire home. I'll send you a personalized key code one week before check-in. Access is that easy :)

It's a charming cabin with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is one bedroom downstairs and two beds in the double loft area upstairs. **Please note...adults will have to bend down when walking around upstairs, as this is a true loft. On one side, a full bed can easily accommodate adults if you adventurous and don’t mind climbing a ladder, but the space is best suited for the kids. Across the way to the other side of the loft, you'll find a queen bed, custom built by the cabin owner, and a TV and toys. It's going to be hard to get the kids to come down, but you won't mind if you're enjoying a glass of wine on the deck! While most adults can easily sleep here, some guests have said it is hard for larger people to maneuver, and would be best for older kids or teens. The ladder up to the loft will be tricky or dangerous for most children under 5. There is a split system for heat and AC in the loft only.

A fully equipped kitchen provides a user-friendly space to cook a meal. A washer and dryer in the cabin are perfect for soggy ski clothes. Entertainment options like flat-screen TVs mean you can cozy up with a good movie next to the pellet stove! Large deck with table and chairs in the summertime, with a good cup of joe in hand (complimentary selection of coffee and hot cocoa are offered, of course).

Linens - We DO provide clean linens
Towels - We DO provide clean bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths.
Toiletries - We DO provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap for each bathroom.

As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide you with the below protection. The cost of this protection has been included in your rental rate and fees and covers you for accidental damages during your stay. The Trust and Safety Fee includes up to $3,000 of coverage for accidental contents damage and up to $500,000 coverage for accidental property damage and bodily injury. Complete terms regarding the Trust and Safety coverage will be included in your welcome message. The Trust and Safety Fee is refundable only if the reservation is canceled in writing at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the arrival date.

The cabin is for families and friend getaways only, no parties. We are the owners, not a rental agency. We have neighbors who live next to our cabin year round and we want to respect that.
