Beach Condo Shorebirds 187

Two bedroom, two bathroom lovely unit on beach with full kitchen.
This clean and light, the second-floor unit has awesome views of the ocean north to Santa Cruz from the living room, balcony, and master bedroom. The sound and sight of breaking waves may lure you down nearby stairs to the beach or you may prefer to enjoy watching marine life from our spotless two bedroom, two bath family-friendly home away from home.
Our unit has boogie boards and beach towels ready to go plus buckets for seashells, and sand toys for the little ones. You may even find a whole sand dollar or two! Toasting champagne or roasting marshmallows at one of the fire pits on the private Pajaro Dunes beach when night falls is a great way to spend the evening.
We've got a barbecue and table on the deck and plenty of space inside for a great retreat.
There are also smart DVDs, fast WIFI, a library and plenty of room to entertain.

The location of the condo was perfect. Place was clean and easy to navigate check in process. It was a bit out of the way from Monterrey but worth it.

Beautiful views!!

Overall, we loved the place and the amazing view! We appreciated the extra linens and the washer and dryer! My only problem was that there was sand in the master bed on the sheets which was not comfortable. Otherwise, I would recommend staying here and would love to come back!

Perfect spot

5 ladies fit very comfortably in this home (we could have fit one more). It had everything we needed. The view was great from the living room or the balcony. Could not have asked for a better place!

Excellent stay.

#187 is a fantastic property. Clean, cozy and just a few steps away from the beach. The unit came with everything you could possibly need for a beach getaway. The beach toys and towels made it feel like home. Sleeping options were plentiful with multiple beds available. All in all very happy with our stay and will definitely book again for our next visit to Pajaro Dunes

Location & view were perfect! Clean & cozy. Quiet & gated community condos. Sand chairs & toys provided. Beds & pillows and couches were very comfortable! Directions to condo & binder of information were very helpful! I wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Charming Weekend Getaway with Easy Beach Access

The Dunes condos were a beautiful and charming last beach getaway before the bustle of fall obligations. The condo was modestly decorated with beautiful sea fare pieces, an open kitchen and a comfortable outdoor seating with a view of the crashing waves. With beach access just a few yards away, my family was able to enjoy the water and walk back to the condo for meals with ease. The checkin and checkout process was super easy and convenient. This has been a new favorite of our beach vacations that we will plan to getaway to again. Thank you!

Clean with a great view

We really liked staying here. The place was clean, nicely decorated and has a great view of the ocean . Beds are comfortable(foam mattresses). The bunk beds are a bit dated. They were metal, and the springs were quite noisy when you move around in them. Well stocked kitchen with pots , pans, and silverware. They have boogie boards, sand toys for the kids and a cart to take it all to the beach which is really close. This place was everything we had hoped it would be.

Reprieve while we grieved

We needed a place to retreat each night while attending toour mother’s funeral and clearing her apartment. We picked the right spot. We had a fairly good weather and caught some amazing sunsets. We saw dolphin moving south down the bay and Hummingbirds through the living room window. We had a little hiccup with the fridge which took a few days to resolve. Communication with the mgmt office was a tad slow . A nature refuge was a nice place to meander. But overall had a great place to stay. Definitely family friendly.

Great property with beautiful sunsets. We were even blessed with a whale sighting one morning! The property is a bit farther than we expected from restaurants and attractions but if the beach is your main focus, you can’t go wrong. We would happily return.

Wonderful beach stay

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this unit! It's very comfortable and well stocked, and just steps away from the beach where we had a great time boogie boarding! The only hiccup was that the code we received to enter the unit was wrong, but we were able to text the management company and get the correct code without waiting too long. Overall highly recommend!

Great Family get-a-way

Property clean and easy access. Very enjoyable Family Time, not having to worry about much....Groceries within 5 miles, quick day trip to the Boardwalk one day and Phils Fish Market for lunch on next day. The property had plenty of towels and supplies. We even talked about making it a yearly trip!

Fantastic escape

Beautiful condo and location. The view was amazing. We would wake up with our coffee and watch the whales and dolphins right from the couch. Although the location is somewhat isolated (which we appreciated), we purchased food for the week at a Safeway about 15 minutes from the property and treated ourselves to a Starbucks only 5 minutes away. The property was quiet and the manager was very responsive when we needed help with something. Highly recommend for a peaceful escape!

Quiet and relaxing

Everything went very well - comfortable beds; well equipped kitchen, etc. As a whole, Pajaro Dunes has one flaw. People build bonfires all over an otherwise pristine beach. The smoke can get bad, and we come to the beach for the clean air and to escape wildfire smoke. People are only supposed to burn manufactured logs in fire pits provided by the management - that is very loosely - if at all- enforced. We saw driftwood in the remnants of one bonfire. Driftwood releases particularly toxic compounds which lead to the formation of durans and dioxins. Hope to see enforcement of bonfire rules in the future.

Need updates and Window and sliding glass door maintenance

The mattresses should be replaced with new ones. There’s a lot of units around this and it was extremely noisy with kids. The sliding doors and windows were hard to operate.

Amazing Stay!

We had the absolute best time! This property had literally EVERYTHING you would need for a beach getaway. From towels to sand toys to binoculars. We have stayed at Pajaro Dunes before and will definitely be renting this unit again!
