Blue Ridge View is a cozy log cabin with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. With 5 sleeping spaces and 3.5 bathrooms, this Blowing Rock getaway is the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. Westglow Spa, one of the top-rated spas in the country, is a short 5-minute drive away, providing luxury spa treatments, salon services, and wellness and fitness experiences. Also within 5 minutes is the Blue Ridge Parkway, giving access to scenic drives, overlook points and picnic areas, and hikes for all skill levels. Other local attractions include Appalachian Ski Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park, High Gravity Adventure Zip Line and Aerial Park, and the Tanger Outlets in Blowing Rock, all within a 15-minute drive.

Tucked away in a mountain cove, this cabin boasts stunning vaulted ceilings and a two-story, stone fireplace centered on a wall of windows, overlooking the incredible view. The kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, and there is dinner seating for 6. Outside on the covered deck, there is a gas grill and outdoor seating to provide a comfortable area to enjoy the panoramic mountain landscape.

The master king bedroom is on the main level and has an HDTV, private access to the deck, and an ensuite full bathroom with a tub and shower combo. Two additional queen rooms are also on the main floor, one with private deck access. Both have TVs and they share a full bathroom with a tub and shower combo. Upstairs, there is a loft open to the main level with 2 twin beds.

On the lower level, there is a cozy den with a ping pong table, a seating area around a large HDTV, and access leading to the second-level porch the hot tub. There is also a queen room with an ensuite full bathroom.

This home is pet-friendly with an additional fee, and access to the home is up a small ramp or two stairs. **The driveway leading to the home is very steep- 4WD and/or chains are required during the winter months.**

Great location

The cabin was awesome, great views and very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked and the ping-pong table was a big plus for the kids. The only issue we had was the hot tub needed cleaning. However, they were Johnny on the spot and had someone up there immediately to clean it.

Dark Cabin at top of an extremely steep driveway

On the rare occasion that we could see the view, it was spectacular (10% of the time). The picture is very deceiving, the cabin is very dark, lighting insufficient, I was unable to read in bed it was so dark. I was happy to bring my pup but the drive was so steep it was difficult to get to the flat road and there was no place to walk around the cabin.

Great weekend stay!

My family and I have stayed here in the past and I wanted to share this special place with my friends. We had the best time this weekend and the house is perfect! It was clean, spacious, well equipped, and the views are amazing! 10 minutes or less to Blowing rock, and incredible easy access to the blue ridge parkway for hikes, parks, views, etc. I will absolutely be staying here again in the future!

Great cabin with a view!

My parents and I stayed at the cabin. The pictures and listing were accurate. We had a few issues but the management company sent someone out within a few hours. It is a very peaceful place during the month of May. The weather was great and we were surrounded by woods nature and minimal houses on the private road.

Great property, with a few challenges

This property is beautiful and in a great spot. Visitors should know that internet is spotty at best, but largely disabled for the 4 days we were there so if you need to work, prepare with a hotspot. We also could not get the TV in the main room to work and the maintenance contact advised we should unplug all other smart TV's in the home to access the main one. This seemed like a strange solution, but we did it and finally were able to put the main TV on. Saying this, a mountain getaway is often about unplugging and enjoying the scenery and we did just that. The house is very well stocked and the games room was a definite bonus. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful view

The cabin was comfortable for 8 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of space. The view was awesome and weather was just perfect. Will definitely recommend.

House was very nice and clean.

Having 4wheel drive is very helpful in the winter time drive way very steep. House gets very hot and takes a while to cool down especially bedroom in basement ceiling fans in all rooms would be a great suggestion many times waking up sweating. Trash cans we’re not empty before we got to cabin had to make trips to throw away trash bags. Would consider renting again. Overall a nice place with a beautiful view plenty of deer walking through back of property

Extremely poor experience

My mother booked this property for an extended family get together (6 adults, 4 children) before Christmas. When we arrived, we checked the property as instructed and immediately reported that the hot tub had not been serviced and was not currently running. The management office told me at that time that they saw a note from the turnover staff that the hot tub wasn't functioning. I was promised a phone call update that I never received. In short, I was on the phone every day of our stay with the office staff and was told that the hot tub "would not be functional during our stay". We were given a meager partial refund only after we insisted on some sort of compensation since we absolutely would not have booked the property if we had known the hot tub would not be available. It is extremely frustrating that not only did the management know the hot tub was not functional prior to our check in , but they made no effort to repair it and would not return phone calls or give updates on status despite me requesting a manager to call me. The property was nice but the management was abysmal. I cannot recommend it due to this. It has been two weeks since our stay and I still have not heard back from the management company.

Great Time

We rented this cabin for my wife's 30th birthday and stayed with some friends. It was a blast. Great views, plenty of room, would definitely recommend.

Great convenient location to BR and fantastic views!

I would stay here again. Very close to town but is very quiet and wonderful sunrises and sunset views from the porch. The house cleaner could have done a better job. Some dirty towels, dishes and a bathroom was not cleaned well. Reported it to the proerty manager and they were apologetic and offered to come clean it again.

Trip was great up until the end.

The rental company was very attentive throughout the stay with the concerns we had. However, we had consistent issues with things in the home. The grill was out propane the first night and we couldn't use it to cook dinner. AFter they replaced the gas tank, the grill had issues starting up and getting hot enough to cook food. We then lost water multiple times during our stay for 2-4 hours at a time. Couldn't shower, brush my teeth or cook dinner with boiled water. We then remailed the company the day before asking about how the roads will be plowed so that we can get out of the home on time. The snow was 6" deep. The company responded to my email saying the roads will be plowed the next day. Nothing was plowed and no snow removed the following morning. We had to shovel our entire driveway before we could even pull out of the home to the road. We then had issues getting up the narrow slope to the main road because nothing was plowed or salted. The rental company basically told us to go f ourselves and that they wouldn't do anything. We were forced to dial up multiple towing companies, taking a total of 5 hours to get us out of the cabin. While the house was nice and clean, the amenities and customer service was horrible.
