NC Mountain Stay

We came to NC for a wedding and we toured the area for the remainder of our stay. This cabin was a great place for home base. Just a short distance from parks and sights to see, or fun tourist towns. Communication with the owners was great! And the cabin was comfortable and just what we needed. One word, beautiful.

MOUNTAIN RETREAT

We had a wonderful visit at this mountain retreat and would like to stay here again when visiting family in town. It's a lovely, very comfortable long cabin with all the amenities we needed. The yard is beautiful, too, and no doubt even prettier in the spring and summer! The road up the mountain is very steep, but the owner advised us to have 4WD in the winter--he was right!

Beautiful Experience

We had a great stay at this cabin. It was our first cabinet experience, but it won't be our last. The views at the house was great. The owner was amazing with communication and making sure our arrival, stay, and departure was pleasant and easy. The house was well stocked for everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The house was clean and well stocked with supplies we needed. Overall, everything was perfect for our little getaway.

The perfect Cabin!

Our family feels so blessed that we came across this Cabin! Mr.Dale the owner gave us a call right away! Explained the process and things we can do around the area. Very clean, everything was perfect! You have all you need there, just bring your groceries! I was hesitant to book this cabin as I did not see any reviews, but the owner actually has another cabin and this one he just transfer to VRBO that is why I couldn't see their amazing reviews! If you ever want to visit the mountains, this is the people you want to rent from. I took a video of this cabin, the pictures are beautiful, but the cabin in person was beyond perfect for our family! We hope to stay here again!

Vacation/wedding

We came up to attend a family friends wedding in addition to extended vacation. What an enjoyable and Beautiful cozy Cabin in this gated community. The cabin itself is located in a very serene location surrounded by beautiful trees up on a hill. Felt like you were the only ones there. Inside was decorated beautifully and very cozy. The location of the cabin was close to Boone, West Jefferson, Blowing Rock and many other towns. Plenty of shops out door activity for the entire family. Cant say enough about the cabin. It had everything you need to make your stay relaxing and to just unwind. The hosts were extremely nice and communication was top notch! I highly recommend this awesome Cabin for anyone who just want to tune out relax and enjoy all that the mountains have to offer! Thank you from all of us. Will most definitely return. Stayed 10-11-23 thru 10-19-23

Cozy Cabin

We met friends for the weekend at the BlueBird cabin . Check in was easy, it was clean and comfortable. Owners were attentive and quickly responded to my questions. We had a great time hanging out and catching up. We ventured down to Boone, visited a few antique shops, and ended our day taking the kids to Christmas at Tweetsie. We had a great weekend. Would love to stay here again one day.

Great mountain vacation!

My family and I had a great experience staying in the cabin! When I accidentally left my wallet in the couch, the hosts not only found it but overnighted it to me. Above and beyond customer service and a great property!

We had a wonderful time! The cabin is charming and in a beautiful setting. Great location for everything we wanted to do and see as well. To top it off, the owners/ hosts were extremely thoughtful, kind and communicative. Highly recommend the Bluebird Cabin!

Adorable Cabin

This cabin is adorable. Looks just as the photos in the listing. Easy to access, just about a mile off of HWY 221. We were able to cook at the cabin and didn't have to go out unless we wanted to. We will return, unless we purchase our own place. :)

Great location, cute cabin but…..

The cabin is cute, well furnished and in a great location. Dale was an excellent communicator, always responsive. However, we found the cabin to be lacking a good cleaning. My allergies started up and I am sure it is because of the dust. It’s a cabin and some of that is to be expected, but that could be fixed with a good cleaning and dusting. The kitchen is very tight, hardly any counter or cabinet space., no dish towels. If you plan on eating out, no problem. Dishwasher, washer and dryer, A/C worked fine and we appreciated that during our stay. The deck is great (could use table/chairs) and that is where we spent our time. It is very quiet , no traffic, easy to find, lovely neighborhood and loved seeing the deer.

Great time!

My family recently stayed at this location and we had an amazing time. There were 5 of us and everybody were comfortable. Location was perfect: very close to major stores (Ingles, Walmart, Lowe's, etc), 10 minutes drive to west Jefferson and 10-15 minutes drive to Boone. My favorite part was sitting on the porch and spent time near a fireplace. Property is well taken care of. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Charming Cabin

Bluebird Cabin is clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and conveniently located between the charming cities of Boone and West Jefferson. Our hosts were extremely helpful and available. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful Cabin

Such a beautiful cabin nestled in the woods in a nice community. So very cozy and very close to Boone and Blowing Rock. Lots of fun activities near by.

Quiet Get-away

The cabin was a perfect size and stocked with everything you need for a quiet vacation. Boone is about 20 Minutes away with so many great restaurants. The outdoor fire pit was nice on the cold night but could use 2 more outdoor chairs. If you are going in the winter and a storm or snow is expected, you really do need a 4 wheel or AWD vehicle. We hope to stay again thank you for q fabulous stay.

Not only was the cabin better than we expected, the communication we had with the hosts was definitely a 5 star experience. They were so attentive and absolutely the nicest people. Quick getaway

The cabin was very nice and only a short distance from Boone, West Jefferson and the Parkway. It was well stocked with necessities and very clean. Overall a great experience and we look forward to staying at the Bluebird cabin in the future.

Perfect Stay

This was our first time renting a cabin and it was better than I expected. I am more of a resort person but the tranquility was a better overall experience. The cabin was very nice and the owners were very accommodating throughout our stay. I would recommend and would stay again whenever we decide to go back.

I grew up in PA and cherish the memories of countless trips to the Pocono mountains during my childhood. I've always dreamed of recreating these memories for my family and we are blessed to be able to do this with our Bluebird Cabin.
