A great stay on Hilton Head

A large group of friends got together for a college reunion on Hilton Head and our small pod stayed in this lovely 3 BR. Everything was just perfect. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Hello Lillian, we really enjoyed our week at your property in the Hampton Place/Palmetto Dunes, on Hilton Head Island, SC. It has a very nice location in reference to the beach, hot tub, pools, and covered parking. It has a wonderful ocean view from all three verandas. The living and full kitchen areas are really great. Having a locker with the beach wagon and chairs available to us was a big plus. It was very convenient having a washer & dryer in the condo. All three bedrooms having their own bathrooms is desirable for groups of 4-6 people. We had four of our six there for this trip. The rain-head shower in the guest bedroom is therapeutic. All and all, it was a fantastic week of vacation for our family from the NC high country! Thank you for making it so home-y! We will definitely consider coming back again. This past two years we have been going to Kiawah Island. Both areas are very nice to spend a week or more.

Great Spot!

The heated pool and hot tub for a Spring Break trip was perfect for us! Easy walk to the beach and lovely grounds all around. Enjoyed using the grill by the pool deck. Very pleased with our view from the condo. We'd love to go back!

Wonderful stay

Excellent stay. The condo was spacious, with plenty of room for our 4 adults and two small children. The condition of the property was good and the property was clean. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The location was great with views of the ocean and pool. The property managers were helpful in replacing a parking pass when we forgot ours. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing location & great property

Listing was all accurate. You cannot beat the location at Palmetto Dunes. Property was spacious and had everything we needed. Cute bunnies and deer grazed on grass outside our balcony each day. Covered parking was also a plus.

Perfect for families!

This condo was perfect for our family. We were 4 adults and 2 small children. The pool was great and walk to the beach close. The sliding doors to the balcony were hard to open. The hot tub was broken when we were there, but otherwise everything was great.

Beautiful views, tasteful updated decor, great floorplan and everything you could want in a oceanside condo is in this unit. We especially liked the lower floor location, very easy access to the beach, pool and parking. Five star communication from the rental management company.

Three weeks in paridise was too short. Loved having Palmetto Dunes Pickleball Club in walking distance. The pool deck was great place to gather & relax for card playing. Lock out garage storage unit was full of beach chairs, boogie boards, noodles, wagon for beach fun.

Clean with nice furniture. Nice view of the beach and pool from the 2 balconies. On the first level (above the parking garage), so convenient. Ample parking in garage out of the heat. New coffee maker and toaster. Hope to stay there next year.

Peaceful and serene

We had a lovely stay, the property is beautiful and clean, the condo is nicely decorated ,extremely well equipped kitchen with plenty of storage and everything you could possibly need. The only negative comment would be that there could have been a better stock of bath towels, but other than that our stay was perfect. Would love to have booked again next year had the price not been double what we paid this year!

Relaxing family vacation

This unit was laid out perfectly for our family with grandparents, adult children, and grandchildren! Each BR/BA was separate and felt private away from the living area, so we didn't wake each other. The twin beds were a little creaky/uncomfortable but sufficient. The walk to beach and pool was fairly short- huge bonus! The pool was large and plenty of chairs- only minor issue were some cracks starting in corners. Beach was uncrowded and clean Property mgmt was very responsive to questions. Would def stay here again!

Spring break 2022

Property was clean and spacious. Plenty of hot water for multiple showers. Beds were fairly comfortable. View of the beach was fabulous. Easy entry to beach from condo. The property was awesome. Definitely family friendly. Easy rental of bikes and chairs through explorie. Property manager was fabulous and very helpful. We ended up needing to stay an extra day and she was very timely in helping us.

Loved Hilton Head!

Cannot say enough positive things about this property! Location was great, grounds were beautiful and the condo itself was fantastic! We are a family of 5 (with 2 teens and a tween) and stayed here the first week of August. Well appointed condo with tasteful beach themed decor. Ample storage and space in each bedroom, beds were comfortable, plenty of blankets, pillows and towels. Even plenty of clothing hangers. Large kitchen had all necessary equipment and accessories with tons of storage. Living room was spacious and one teen actually enjoyed the pull out bed and stated it was quite comfy. Smart Televisions in each room were better than expected- no issues logging in to our accounts (Netflix, Prime,…). I particularly liked the under building parking and bike racks which provided shelter when arriving home during rain. Pool area and grilling area was kept clean with lots of chairs and a few tables. Beach access was great! I would definitely recommend this condo. We loved our first stay on HHI and would consider this property again when we visit again! You won’t be disappointed!

Amazing Beach Retreat

This is a spacious beautiful property that has a great pool, wonderful easy access to the beach and great parking. Even though you feel like you are on beach holiday, you are close to everything. The layout and furnishings are well thought out. Communication from the property manager was excellent. Previously, there was a review about bugs, we communicated with them and asked about the bugs. They assured us the issue was taken care of. We didn't see any roaches or bugs. I really appreciated the honest communication about the issue. You might be wondering why the overall rating was just 4 stars...it is about my expectations of a 5 star property. In a 5 star property, I don't have to buy garbage bags, dish soap, laundry soap, paper towels and toilet paper to stay especially in a property at this price range. If you don't mind that, this is a 5 star property. Just know you will get 1 bar soap per bathroom sink and none for the showers. 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom (regardless of your length of stay), 1 paper towel, 1 extra garbage bag, 1 dishwasher pod, and 1 laundry soap even though you are asked to wash the beach towels you use. Don't get me wrong, this property is really nice and we will definitely stay again (and probably pack some of the above items) but I can't rate it 5 stars based on the expectations I have of a 5 star property.

Cockroaches joined our vacation

The size of the unit as well as the decor and views were great! The furniture was nice and the updates completed to the unit were attractive! The check in/out process as well as keyless entries to the unit and pool were perfect! However, when we booked the unit, we certainly only booked it for our family and never imagined any unexpected guests would be joining us…on our first morning, we discovered small BUGS crawling in the kitchen cabinets/pantry, the countertops, and on the stove. Over the next few days, the size of the bugs increased as did the number and we quickly realized that these were likely “palmetto bugs” (a type of cockroach). In the process of trying to locate the source of entry, we discovered multiple bait traps behind the stove, which suggested that this was a known problem. The management company responded to our calls/texts/emails and sent a maintenance pro to handle the issue—yet, he simply sprayed “Raid”. The bug issue worsened throughout the week, especially after the spraying, and we ultimately had to wrap each food item in sealable bags to be sure that we weren’t sharing our food with the pests…sharing the unit with them was difficult enough! We found them in the toaster, behind the refrigerator, and in the crevasses of the cabinets. In addition to the bugs, we found that the bathrooms had not been thoroughly cleaned (hair everywhere) and we had to re-clean them. The cost of the unit certainly did not align with our experience, unfortunately.

The pest control company was able to go into the property after your departure as they were not allowed in during your stay and did a whole property, deep treatment. Great property, great location

Loved our stay. Property was great, condo spacious and comfortable, and beach access/location can't be beat. Easy & friendly communications with property manager ahead of stay. No surprises at all. Highly recommend.
