Perfect location

This property is amazing - the proximity to the beach and the pools were a huge plus for our family. We loved the little extra touches provided by the hosts. Would definitely stay here again when we return to SPI!

My whole family loved the condo, very spacious great view, nice aesthetic, there was 10 of total and we felt comfortable with the space. Perfect place for a large group and the walking distance to the beach was great! Pool was lovely, sad that it would close promptly at 10. We had everything we needed in the condo for out stay, communication with the owners was prompt and easy to do, would definitely want to stay here again in the future with my family.

We had an amazing time at this location. The room was wonderful and the location was great too! It was close to a lot of amenities. The only down side was the tar in the ocean. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Condo for the 4th of July

We took two families- with our grandchildren to the beach for the 4th of July and everyone had a great time. The condo was very accomodating and the pool was amazing!

Pleasant stay

Had good experience with family and friends. Nice beach facing condo. Only drawback is parking which seems to be some walk - especially if u want to bring ur weenkend luggage.

Wonderful South Padre Condo

This property was perfect for our 3 families. The kitchen was fully stocked and the gathering space( dining/ living room) was bright, spacious, and beautiful. We viewed both the Gulf and the Laguna Madre from the large windows facing south, with a nice sized deck. We could see the gorgeous sunsets from our deck(that might depend on the time of year) Great location close to fabulous restaurants and fun shops. Cynthia and Gus were wonderful to work with- very friendly and answered questions immediately. We will definitely come back here!

These hosts are the worst

I was scheduled to celebrate my sister’s 40th birthday at this condo March 28-30, 2025. Unfortunately I live in Cameron county and i, (along with the rest of the RGV) suffered catastrophic flooding. I was flooded in my house for 4 days, was not able to get out until Sunday. I began communicating this to the hosts Gus & Cynthia since March 27 (one day prior to my stay) and they did not care. I asked for a refund or even just a reschedule, and the hosts are refusing. They said they do not reschedule or refund for “rain” and I should have purchased the travel insurance. Cameron Co. has a Disaster declaration in place due to this flooding yet still the hosts refused to be sympathetic or compassionate about the situation. I was really looking forward to the weekend at their island condo, but now will never book with them or vrbo again. I feel like their behavior was extremely unfair as this situation was 1,000% out of my hands. I would rate Zero stars if I could at this point; I lost out on A LOT of money due to their greediness.

Unreasonable cancellation policy!

Tropical Storm Alberto was named the same week we were scheduled to stay at this condo. We were scheduled to check in on the 19th of June the day SPI and all of South Texas was reviewing a torrential amount of rain. Their cancellation policy expires 14 days prior to the booking. We had no idea about the storm 14 days prior to. I asked the owner several times to please consider working with us due to the storm and he was not willing to work with us at all. We understand it’s a business, but the first two days that we were unable to travel, a refund would have been sufficient. We paid a lot of money and thought he would be empathetic to our situation. The governor declared Cameron County as one of 51 counties as a disaster declaration area. We were unwilling to put our lives in danger to travel there. Think twice about booking from this unsympathetic condo owner. He cares more about making the buck than other’s safety.

The best place on the island!

My family takes a trip to South Padre Island yearly and we have stayed in various places but these accommodations are the best we've had hands down. The owners, Cynthia and Gus were extremely organized and thoughtful- making our stay so effortless! Everything was amazing. Everyone complimented the cleanliness, the convenience, the amenities... I could go on and on. Thank you for having us. This will be our go to place from now on!
