On the beach! 3 br townhome @ Southbay by Florida Sunshine!


This fabulous townhome is the closest to the dune walkover of any at Southbay. It is less than 50 feet to our private protected beach! Yes, we own our beach at Southbay so there are never any access issues. It is so close that we don't even take a cooler, walking back and forth between our townhome and the beach for drinks, lunch and restroom breaks only takes seconds. We Include 2 beach chairs and an umbrella March 1-October 31.

It’s Freshly remodeled with 3 bedrooms with 2.5 baths, including a brand new for 2025 master bath that is expanded for maximum space. It even comes with a private parking spot directly in front of the door. There is plenty of additional parking for additional cars, just a little further away.

All 3 bedrooms are upstairs and the living area is downstairs. The beach is right outside the back door.

The dune walkover and the beach are right off the patio and are just steps away. No streets or even parking lots to cross! It’s grass straight to the boardwalk.

South Bay by the Gulf is a gated community and our beach is privately owned by the Southbay HOA. Beach access is restricted to just owners and guests. We have 2 pools, one about 10 units away and the other is on the north side of the lake. The tennis and pickleball courts are just across the parking lot from our front door. There is no longer a grill on the back patio. We have a park style grill in the grass now.

Pancakery, Chick fil A, Que Pasa and numerous other restaurants, shops, and attractions are within walking distance. We are in the middle of all the excitement!

Well behaved dogs are allowed after approval as long as they are house trained and do not get on any furniture.

Please tell us about yourself and your group when inquiring or requesting a stay. This is our 2nd home and we like to get to know our new friends. Neighbors on either side are full time residents.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in South Bay. They were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed! Perfect for my dogs. The condo had a nice grass area and only steps from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Close to everything! Amenities include pools, pickle ball and lots of beach equipment on the back porch. Nice and cool with a big sectional couch for everyone!!

We had a wonderful time at this home in Destin Florida. This was our first time visiting the area, and we were extremely impressed with how beautiful the beaches and the post card ocean. The house was a few steps away from the beach, which made life very easy with three grandchildren ; thank you, Mr. Lonnie, for being a wonderful host and being very attentive to our needs. You will not regret booking this property! Everything was absolutely perfect for our group. This is the place to book if you have small kids. The absolute best thing about this townhome is the convenience. The back patio is just steps away from the ramp that leads directly to the beach. I would say it is 15 second walk max to the sand! This made bathroom breaks and lunchtime a breeze for our 5 small children. So, such a great price for what you are getting! We arrived the day after hurricane Isaias. The host, Lonnie was so helpful and kept us updated even the week before our stay. He was extremely quick to respond and made everything a breeze from day one of booking. Even within all of the hurricane chaos, Lonnie kept us in the loop and answered any and all questions so fast. We cannot wait to come back!

The property was clean and just as described. Loved having a little back yard for our little yorkie and the super close walk to the beach. Could hear the waves from the back porch. Lonnie was easy to get in touch with and always responded quickly. I would definitely come back and stay here.

Arrived about an hour early to the property and sent a msg to the host. About 15 mins later received a msg allowing me to check in a little early. Was not told to wait untill exact time. Once inside the place was well maintained, clean and in order. Had everything family would need for a week of fun and excitement! Its location to the beach is great. Sit on the back porch eat dinner and listen to the waves crashing. Loved it. The owner was available when my daughter arrived with her fur baby paid the pet fee, ( lot cheaper than doggie day care!). After 10 plus years of staying in different places this is our best. Due to its location security gate entrance a great pool for the kiddies when the beach time is enough makes this the top of places to stay. Forgot to mention just how clean the area was. If you get this place you have a good one. Enjoy and make sure forget about where you came here from. Your here to have a great time and the location of this place meets everything you could want it to be My family will be back for as many years as it’s available. It’s our vacation home away from home. Thanks Lonnie for a great place to unwind.

Great Location

Great location and very close to local restaurants and attractions. The beach was only steps away and the kitchen had everything needed to cook breakfast or a full dinner if needed.

Excellent location, just steps from the beach. The Condo was perfect for our family of five. It had everything thing we needed. It was close to restaurants and local attractions. We had the best time in Destin, even with the weather and double red flags! This home was perfect for us, and was SO close to the beach. The owner, Lonnie, was very easy to reach when we had questions. The complex was so nice and quiet. We can't wait to return and stay here again!!

We stayed in this condo for one month and it was wonderful. It is clean, well equipped and very close to the beach. The beach is beautiful with sparkling white sand. The owner is quick to respond to your questions or requests. You will enjoy your stay here!

Our first stay in Destin

Myself, my Honey, and a friend couple made our first trip to Destin! It was Amazing! The townhouse was perfect for a stay on the beach. Walk out the door and you are on the beach. We checked all of our boxes and were disappointed to have to go home.

Perfect spot

We love staying in Southbay and this unit is right at the bottom of the short boardwalk to the beach. You can sit outside and listen to the waves. Fit our family perfectly.
