Open the French doors and you are ON THE BEACH. Sit in the living room and watch the waves break on thepristine three-mile beach or turn your head and watch the shadows creep on Tamalpais Mountain. Landscaped enclosed garden.

Hike the hundreds of trails on Mount Tam State Park. Bike ride the many off road trails. Horseback ride through glorious open country. Gourmet restaurants a few minutes away - some walking distance. And then San Francisco is 40 minutes (need we say more).

Great beach house

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! The location was perfect—just steps away from the sand and with stunning ocean views. The house was clean, cozy, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were attentive and made sure we felt right at home. We can’t wait to come back!

Such a great house and location! Right on the beach, and even if it was a windy day, the bluff has a great natural wind break, so you can sit outside in the chairs on the sand and feel warm. Great kitchen - very well outfitted for any cooking or baking you may want to do. 3 bedrooms in the main house and 1 additional bedroom/bathroom with small kitchenette in the Casita - great for privacy or for someone who needs to work from home. Nice but not so nice you worried if the dog jumped on the couch. Loved our stay and Owen was great about communication. Highly recommend

Worked out perfect for us and the family visitors. Didnt even use one bedroom. Casitas perfect for couple with 1 year old. A little expensive for the furnishings in the living room. A little awkward to have to go thru a bedroom to get to primary bedroom. Had to go out the patio Doors to the front door. Kitchen worked out nice. Internet out for a few hours so couldnt sign some important papers but came back on after 9pm. All and all it was a lovely time and all enjoyed.

Great Family Beach House!

Just returned from a fun, memorable week at this family-friendly beach house. The house includes all kitchen gadgets necessary for grilling, cooking and baking. Surf camp, long beach walks, shell collecting, boogie boarding (bring/rent wetsuits!), sunsets and seaside dining. Nearby attractions include Muir Woods and Pt. Reyes plus terrific hiking in the headlands (athough I could easily stay at this house without leaving for weeks at time!).We hope to return soon!

Wonderful Time

I just returned from a week at your beach house and can't say enough how much we enjoyed our time out there. Your home is the perfect beach get away. Every where I looked was a beautiful view. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were super comfortable and the house had a wonderful feel to it. It is our favorite house out at Stinson and we have rented many different houses over the years. My kids (8, 6 and 4) all loved it too. Thank you for opening up your home to us!

My family ( 2 adults, 3 teenagers) just stayed here and had a fantastic week's holiday. Really beautiful, mature courtyard garden on one side of the house and gorgeous beach on the other. The property has lots of outdoors seating for relaxing and eating. The views of the beach and the mountain are phenomenal. The kitchen is nicely done and well equipped. The family room has a great wood burning stove for cosy evenings. 3 bedrooms: 1 large with a king bed, the other 2 are on the smaller side, but that was not a problem for us as we spent all the time in the family room or outside. For those of you who don't know Stinson it is a great place to go with teens as they can have a fair bit of freedom walking up the beach and into town where there are shops, cafes etc.
