Located on a quiet street close to downtown & 20 min. from the airport, you`ll find this home clean, bright & freshly updated with new carpeting and paint.

Located across from a sports field, children will find plenty to do! Note: the back yard isn`t fully fenced in.

Sport fisher`s delight with close proximity to Genesee River and Lake Ontario, including Ontario Beach Park. Check out the Charlotte Beach boardwalk!

Two-storey home with one queen bedroom and full bathroom on main floor, and two bedrooms (queen and two twins) with full bath on second floor.

Upgrades in 2022: new kitchen floor installed, cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms painted.

One-vehicle garage may be used during your stay.

Pets welcome if approved -- please reach out to the host. Pet fee is $25/night per pet.
NO smoking of any kind please - penalty $150 if ozone machine required for next guest. All smoking must be done outdoors.

Pets are welcome but must stay off furniture.

Please note my pet fee is $25/night/pet and will be requested a day or two prior to your arrival. If you are bringing a pet or pets, please reach out and let me know the breeds and sizes. Thank you. For longer stays, I am open to a reduced pet fee.

Perfect Graduation Stay

We stayed for our son’s graduation from University of Rochester. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Cheryl, the owner, was extremely responsive and she checked in via email several times to see how our stay was and if we needed anything. The location was an easy drive into the university and very close to Lake Ontario and restaurants.

PERFECT

The homes was perfect for our needs. It was very clean, comfortable and private. The host was very good about communicating and wanted to make sure if there was anything she could do to make sure our stay was the best it could be. She was amazing. We will definitely be back on our next stay in Rochester.

Very Comfortable

Very comfortable home with all of the amenities we needed. Short drive to Ontario Beach Park to watch the sun rise. Communication was great. Simple check in and out.

Convenient and comfortable stay

The house was comfortable and clean. The location was quiet and also convenient for us as we attended a family wedding nearby. We did not make use of the kitchen for meals but appreciated the coffee. Bedrooms were spacious and perfect for our family of 4. Cheryl was a wonderful host, very responsive, and made us feel welcome - checking in with us before and during our stay. Check-in and check-out were very easy. A great rental for a relaxing stay.

Lovely and comfortable stay

We had a great stay! The house is exactly as described and shown in the photos. Spacious and comfortable for our party of 6. Conveniently located close to Charlotte Beach and close to downtown Rochester as well. Cheryl was an excellent host checking in with is before, during, and after our stay. She was super responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. I would recommend this rental.

The house was cozy and cute. It is an old home and the furniture is worn in but comfortable. I stayed with my father and older siblings for two nights and it was in a good quite location. Thank you for sharing your home.

Rochester, NY visit

Charming home indeed. Large bed and bath on the 1st floor and 2 bedrooms and bath on the 2nd, made it very private for 2 couples. No kitchen was used but it was well stocked. Large kitchen table made it easy for us to play cards. Washer and dryer in the basement was used once during our 6 night stay. Very roomy home. Will definitely stay here again, if we return for our croquet tournament next summer.

CONVENIENT LOCATION AND ROOMY HOUSE

I will definitely be back to this location. The house was just a few short minutes from the beach, shopping and only 90 minutes from Niagara Falls. I booked this house because I had family coming in for a wedding. The house was as described. The bedrooms were large and spacious. The two bathrooms had adequate space and 2 showers for my guests. Across the street was a ball field with plenty of room to roam. It was a great place to stay for my out of town guests. I will be bak.

Terrible experience with this owner

Upon arrival, I could not get into the snow covered driveway. I tried shoveling but the snow/ice was hardpacked and when I tried to drive in again, my wheels just spun. I had to forward and reverse several times to get back into the street. There was no street parking due to snow, my 70 year old sister was arriving with nowhere to park, and the access to the property was unsafe. I called the owner but she did not call back. I checked into a hotel and called VRBO. They got in touch with owner, who told them a plow was on its way. This was an hour after my check in time. She messaged me that the plow was on its way; a "few minutes late for my 4:00 check in time". Check in time is clearly stated on my reservation as 3:00 PM. She also stated that the driveway had been plowed during the week, but it hadn't snowed since Tuesday and it was now Friday. I sent her pictures of the driveway per her request. I have contacted her but she is not responding. VRBO also tried contacting her but they now tell me that it is up to the owner to refund me my money. Right now, my only recourse, is to warn others about renting from this owner.

There had been an atypical amount of snowfall in Rochester leading up to the day this guest arrived, and the driveway had been plowed three times, each time there was a snowfall. Unfortunately, and unknown to me, the end of the driveway got filled with packed snow due to the town's plow. Within minutes of the guest contacting me we had our plow driver return, but the guest had decided to leave the property and go to a hotel. I go above and beyond for my guests, and was trying to do that for her as well. Her reaction felt unreasonable and she was not interested in a solution other than a full refund. I would not accept a reservation with this guest again.

Lovely home to spend time with our children. Our son received his MS and presented for his Ph.D. Your home made the experience very enjoyable. Nice neighbors as well.

Nice for a family, needs attention.....

A great place for a family as far as beds and bathrooms. Our overall feeling was that it needed to be much cleaner, especially considering that Covid is still lurking. Clearly there is no attention to detail....we did have a problem with the AC (in the 90's on our arrival) and Cheryl sent someone at 11 p.m. Very responsive. The filter or unit had not been cleaned in forever. We would not rent this house again, but with some attention to needed fixes, a complete cleaning and the upgrade of some items, it would be a great place.

Quiet neighborhood ~ Great for dogs

This house is in a sweet neighborhood directly across the street from a lovely school field which was excellent for walking our dogs. The house was clean and nicely decorated with a large sunny kitchen that was completely stocked from coffee to spices. There was an abundance of cookware and serving dishes which made eating at “home” an easy option. The large bedrooms and two bathrooms allowed our family of four enough room to spread out and relax for the weekend. Cheryl was an excellent communicator from start to finish. We had a slight problem at check in and Cheryl called me to take care of it right after I messaged her. Traveling with dogs really narrows the playing field. This house was a good value and comfortable space for family and pets alike.
