The vacation rental is nestled just a short walk to Beatie Beach, a private beach reserved for homeowners. Enjoy beach days, go to the Port of Rochester restaurants, walk the pier, go to the beach, or head to downtown Rochester to visit museums, restaurants, and shops. We stayed at this cozy house for 10 days and loved the neighborhood. It’s a quiet area but very easy to get to so many places and back on the highways quickly if needed. It’s a very close and an easy walk to a small beach area. The fenced in yard was also lovely. There are lots of great things to do in the area within a 20-30 minute drive like the STRONG museum, great restaurants, and a bigger beach area less than 2 minutes away. The house could have been cleaner with quite a bit of dust and cobwebs in the house. The toaster was left with crumbs on top and dog yard was not clean from previous guests. The WiFi is very spotty and dropped often during our stay which left for streaming videos on the Roku challenging for the kids. Overall it is a great area, the house is cozy and probably best for smaller families. We greatly appreciated the kindness of the host for a small appliance challenge we faced which even though she was abroad, she fixed within hours. It’s worth the stay but know you’re going to be very cozy with your family or friends.

Rochester

Stayed briefly while my significant other had surgery at Strong. The area was very nice. Felt safe. My dogs enjoyed the back yard. We also went to see Lake Ontario and it was very fun!

Immaculate, cute

The house was very clean, fenced worked great for our 9lb dog, any smaller and the dog would need constant attention. House was nicely decorated. Game over and bar downstairs. Nest thermostat went too hot at night. Easy check in. Great new patio where we spent afternoons and early evenings. Great area quick one block walk to the lake , 5 minute drive to Ontario beach park, lighthouse and marina.

Great Place

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean with comfy beds. My dogs really enjoyed the fenced backyard while I worked from the kitchen table. Schallers, Abbotts, and the beach were all within a stone’s throw - location was excellent. Can’t wait to stay here again next summer.

Fun Family/Working Trip

Great little house close to Lake Ontario. Check in/out process was smooth and simple, the property was warm, inviting, clean, and entertaining for the family. Couldn't have asked for a better home away from home while vacationing and taking care of some business.

I live just two blocks away, this is a great neighborhood by the lake. There is a lot to do at the pier, the port, good restaurants, walking the neighborhood .

Our stay was wonderful. The listing is just as advertised. The owner is very responsive and super helpful and kind. We go to Rochester every year and if available next year will hopefully be able to book this location. Can’t say enough good things!

Charming Lake House

This was a really cute, clean house and everything was brand new. Close to a lot of fun places to visit within 10 minutes - my son and I visited the zoo, the pier, and found a great place for food and drinks at hose 22. Our dog loved the big yard - we hope to come back on our next trip.
