Brand new build since Hurricane Beryl in 2024.
Just completed and re-opened for rental in May 2026!

The Sea Glass Retreat a brand new 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom home located in Surfside Beach Texas. It is about 5 houses down from the beach.
Each bedroom has a king size bed.

We have a HOT TUB! There is a fenced in yard downstairs with a nice area for grilling, enjoying the hot tub, and hanging out around the fire pit.

We do not allow more than 6 total guests at any time of day or night.

We are a pet-friendly home. Pets are welcome with a non-refundable fee of $75 per pet for your trip. If you are bringing more than one pet please let us know and we will process the additional pet fee.

The Retreat is simple and comfortable. It's perfect for a memorable and fun beach getaway.

There is not a washer and dryer on site. There is a washateria just over the bridge near the Shell gas station.

Great location for getting on and off the island quick. Place was very clean and comfortable. Easy access to the beach. Also close to a coffee shop and local markets. Highly recommend.

Adorable new home with nice views of the beach and only 1 street away from drivable beach access. Very comfortable. 3 nice bedrooms and two beautiful bathrooms and kitchen was perfect. Fenced in yard and hot tub were a much appreciated bonus. Am hoping we can rent again next year! Wouldn’t stay anywhere else. It was perfect for our family of three and two small pups, but would easily accommodate 6.

House was a great location, very clean, had everything we needed, but like their description said, mosquitoes were no joke. We tried everything in our power to fight them but unfortunately couldn’t win. We couldn’t even use the hot tub they were that bad. Fur babies couldn’t potty without be ing attacked. If you don’t need to use the yard for anything, the house was a great location and absolutely worth it. Easy access to the beach, a short 2-3 min walk and you were at the beach! Quiet location. You could walk to the restaurant that was right there on the beach, literally 1 street over. Had a great breeze off the gulf, it was great to sit out on the porch upstairs! We would stay again, just maybe later in the season when the mosquitos are not as bad!

Short Weekend Get Away

Great Spring Break

This house is perfect!! Super cute decorations and lots of amenities like a jacuzzi and outdoor fire pit. Beds were super comfortable, plenty of towels, and the enclosed yard was perfect for our dogs! A quick walk to the beach and restaurants. Can’t wait to go back!!

Cozy beach house

Very nice house just a few steps from the beach. We really enjoyed the hot tub and our dog loved the fenced in yard. Great communication from the host Marq. Would absolutely recommend!

Lovely & Comfy by the beach!

I took a solo trip with my small dog and it was such a great experience staying here! We both loved the fenced in yard and upper deck. Hot tub was also amazing. Convenient short walk to beach. Comfortable home with great amenities. Hope to come back again!

Traveled from Iowa! The weather was a bit challenging but better than the -13 temperature and 2 ft of snow in Iowa. Even though the weather waa cool here it made the the Hot Tub more enjoyable! Thank you for everything ❤️

Memorial Day Weekend Get Together

Anniversary Getaway

Me and my husband spent our anniversary here. The house was just big enough for us and cozy. We got to enjoy the hot tub one night, unfortunately the tv wasn't working. The kitchen was just big enough for us to make delicious meals. We will definitely remember this house for the future.

Cold weather

We enjoyed the place as much as we could, but the weather was cold & rainy. The house sleeps 4 & is cute. The owner was very friendly and prompt with responses. Check in & check out was a breeze. We were there off season, but this would be a fun place to stay when it’s lively in season. It is a fun beach neighborhood.

Thanks for your review. Unfortunately, the issues brought up aren't something we can address, as they are just a matter of taste. Some people love it and prefer it when the beach is accessible and not packed with Sprint Break and Summertime crowds. We can't address the weather issue either. These things are just out of our control, but we are glad you enjoyed the house and didn't have any issues there. Personally, having the beach to yourself, and not having to fight the crowds for a spot is my favorite thing about this time of the year, and also it's not blazing hot. We hope you come back when the crowds are about and the sun is out.

Awesome little beach house!

This place was perfect for me and my two teens! We rented the golf cart-a serious must do! It was so convenient to just keep it loaded up and drive down to the beach for a few hours when we felt like it! The hot tub was a huge plus and-the kids loved that you can watch Netflix right in the tub on the outside TV! The fire pit and grill were great. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The A/C kept us nice and cool. We would definitely stay again!!

Comfy Stay!

We loved the king size mattress, was very comfy. The window air conditioners worked well and we slept wonderfully. The hot tub was nice after spending most of the day on the beach. The water from the tap smelt really bad and showering was challenging. We've been to Surfside plenty of times, but the water seemed particularly bad this time. The house was close to the beach and we would stay here again.

Small but quaint.

The outside needs some work. The kitchen had dirty dishes and dirty appliances. Inconvenient to not have clean water. I don’t think we would stay there again.

We will inform our team right away regarding the dishes, and get that taken care of. Unfortunately, the whole island does not have "potable water", and never has. It's fine for showering and boiling, etc, just not recommended for drinking. We apologize for any inconvenience. Agreed! the outside could use a little updating, and we have plans to do so after this hurricane season passes. Thanks so much for your feedback!

Fantastic!

We loved the Seaglass Retreat! Everything was as described, the cabin had everything we needed to settle in for our 8-night stay. At one point we were running out of paper products and wanted some more dish towels. We messaged Marq and had the supplies in a couple hours! The beach is a 3-minute walk away, as are 2 good restaurants. We are most of our meals at the cabin, though, since the kitchen is fully equipped. The huge bonus that truly set this place apart is the hot tub! It was heavenly soaking in the warmth on the chilly evenings. Can’t say enough good things! We’re trying to figure out if we can come back next year!
