You are right the pool is 150m away (+/- 2 minutes easy walk) and we like it that way so we don't have the noise coming from there. Yes the building work on the bottom of the hill might still be noisy for some people but its due to finish around end of 2024. The noise did not disturb the previous occupants but I understand the site storage 200m away from the apartment could be annoying if you sleep with open windows. Regarding the check out, Jill the management company rep had an urgency that day so could not attend but the cleaner is a member of their team and is fully trained for the job don't worry. As mentioned next time you come the building work at the bottom of the hill will be finish so it will be very quiet as you experienced over the weekend. I am sorry and saddened, that you felt it a necessity to write a bad review, since all was addressed with immediate effect on your arrival. In six years of hosting, we have never had encountered such issues with guests, we pride ourselves on our presentation of the apartment and embrace many returning guests. Today’s world thrives on reviews and it is to this end we meticulously strive to achieve such level of excellence to encourage new guests and old. The property manager visited the property before you arrived to do the mandatory checks and ensure that all was ready for your arrival. When you called to raise your concerns, we arranged a cleaner with immediate effect 6 pm on a Saturday evening in order to address the area of concern. We must say however, using the mobile phone light/torch to scrutinize corners and areas including inside the wardrobes, we found to be slightly abnormal, however, the cleaner, though struggling to identify, minimal dust particles, hoovered anyway throughout. Each area, that was disconcerting to yourselves, was addressed, including a new kettle being purchased and delivered with haste. This type of scrutiny and extremity would test any properties cleanliness. As explained regarding the alarm, we had a basic package from the most popular alarm company in Spain and in Europe (Securitas Direct).The camera only operates in case of intrusion or fire detection like in most apartments in the area. This feature is a welcome, ‘feel good factor’ for our guests, no other guests found this to be an issue, on the contrary, they have welcomed and embraced this level of peace of mind in our holiday home. Your complaint however, as initiated an address with Securitas and to this end we have now adapted this service to react to motion/movement nothing more. Our objective is to accommodate our guests on every level, ensuring to the best of our professional ability that they have a wonderful stay, certain elements are of course out of our control, like the flight delay and stressful journey encountered before arriving at your holiday home.Getting off to a rocky start, especially when travelling with young babies/children is never ideal, we all know a prerequisite of which requires patience and a good dollop of understanding. We are only sorry that these basics of life were not returned to ourselves, when you packed the car, whilst our cleaner was in situ and decided not to return, leaving with our keys and without any further explanation.

Thank you for your positive review and we are happy you enjoyed your stay in our apartment. That Sunday, our usual cleaning lady was off on holiday unfortunately - I noted you were not satisfied by the cleaning person who came as a replacement and asked the management team not to call that replacement person to clean our apartment in future. I’m truly sorry about it and that won’t happen again - it is true the communication was hard from the beginning as the management team and I don’t speak German and it was difficult for you to communicate in an other language. The BBQ was cleaned twice as you requested but it’s impossible to get it as clean as a new one - thank you for your understanding. We hope to welcome you again in the future. Kindest regards
