Newly renovated KIAWAH ISLAND home! Spacious, comfy, TWO PRIMARY BEDROOM SUITES!

Recently remodeled to add a SECOND primary suite with luxury bathroom and an additional parlor bath! This beautiful home sits in the desirable West Beach community of Kiawah Island near the Cougar Point Golf Course. Newly updated, this 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home with bunk room and pull-out couch in the den will accommodate the whole family. Three king beds, one queen, full-over-full bunk beds with trundle, and a sleeper sofa offer plenty of sleeping areas! High speed wireless internet and a work area with wireless printer/scanner is provided.

This home is a short bike ride to the beach, the Night Heron Park, The Cougar Point Golf Course, the Sanctuary Hotel and more. BICYCLES, beach toys/chairs, BBQ grill, BLACKSTONE GRIDDLE, slack line, and outdoor games provided for your convenience and enjoyment! The home also has a fitness area with Peloton bike (with membership included!) for guest use. Kiawah Island is a private community with beautiful beaches, parks, scenery, golf courses, and more. This home is nestled at the back of a private cul-de-sac, with pond views. Excellent front yard and driveway space for outdoor entertaining, cookouts, cornhole tournaments, and the like - plenty of space to play. Plenty of driveway and garage parking! Enjoy sightings of a family of majestic bald eagles nested in our side yard!

The home offers comfortable mattresses, bedding, and linens; and top-notch furnishings. The beautifully remodeled kitchen has new appliances and double ovens. Keurig and drip coffee maker (and coffee samples!) are provided. The newer Samsung washer and dryer will keep up with all of your laundry and let you return home with clean clothes! The kids bunk room is equipped with a classic Nintendo gaming system with over 800 pre-loaded games to keep everyone entertained!

Current bike fleet includes 9 adult bikes, one two-seat pull behind Burley trailer, 4 children's bikes of various sizes, and two wagons. A note on bikes - we work very hard to maintain the bike fleet in a salty, humid climate. However, we cannot guarantee that all bikes will be functional during your stay.

This home offers the perfect combination of location, privacy, space and comfort - we can't wait for you to stay again and again!

We enjoyed our stay with three families. Plenty of room for the kids to play and stay. Wonderful bikes and amenities. The check in process was a breeze and the hosts were very responsive. We accidentally left an electronic behind and the host went above and beyond to mail back to us. Very clean and comfortable rooms and a very well stocked kitchen. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!

The rooms were spacious with plenty of seating for all of us. We had small children with us, and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for them. The kitchen was well equipped. We would have loved a tea pitcher and a big pot for spaghetti night, but it wasn’t a hardship at all. We loved that there were plenty of blankets and pillow options. Having bikes to use was an extra that we really enjoyed. The house was super clean, and that was important to us. We would definitely come back to Salt Air. Cole was a wonderful host with great, prompt communication.

Everything was as represented in the listing and photos. Nice location near the beach, just a short 6 minute bike ride away using the bikes that came with the house. The set up was perfect for our two families with adult children. Loved the ample hang out space, two en suite bedrooms, and having both a breakfast table and dining table.

Our family throughly enjoyed our stay! The house was welcoming and easy to get around in. We used the bikes for morning rides on the beach and the boogie boards for fun in the water. Charleston was an easy ride and an amazing place to visit. We went to the South Carolina Aquarium and had a blast. The nature center on the island was fun and we made some tie-dyed shirts while there.

Amazing House with everything you need!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this house— the best house we have stayed at in Kiawah! The house had everything we needed and plenty of room and comfortable beds. Also plenty of great bikes and a quick bike ride to the beach was amazing!Cole always responded quickly with any questions we had
 the best host! We really appreciate everything.Only suggestion we have would be to mark the bikes with a colored sticker or an address so they wouldn’t get confused with other bikes at the boardwalk parking at the beach.

Great house Great Location

The house was perfect for our family. The location is perfectly located, right near the Nest and nature Center, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable, and most of all the owner was extremely accessible.The layout of the house was perfect for us, the big bedroom/playroom was great for our two grandchildren to play in. The first floor had a master bedroom with a king sized en-suite, very comfortable bed for my husband and I, and the second floor had a master with a king sized en-suite bedroom for my daughter and son-in-law and two more bedrooms for our two grandchildren. It was the perfect layout for us. It’s rare you find two master bedrooms and with king beds is quite a plus for us.They also had bikes for everyone. Just a wonderful house that made our stay the best in all the years we’ve been coming to a Kiawah.

Family Trip

The 5 bedrooms and an air mattress worked perfectly for our family of 11, from grandma, aunt, and 2 couples with 5 littles. The bunk room was such a hit with the kids. The bikes too for everyone of us; 2 girls learned to ride for the first time. We biked to the beach, also drove and parked

Salty air

Salty Air is a great place to stay. Very clean The kids had a great time with the cornhole and ninja course. They had plenty of bikes for all 11 of us will definitely come back again!

Great House for Families

The home was exactly as described and the layout was perfect for accommodating three families. The two dining areas made it possible for all 10 of us to eat together. One small complaint is the lack of lighting in the dining area off the powder room. This area could use an additional light.The kitchen was well appointed with dinnerware, cookware, and storage containers for any leftovers. This house is in the perfect location for getting to the beach. There are plenty of bikes and helmets to choose from. There was even a bike that worked for our 6’7” son. The burley for the little one and wagons for beach equipment and coolers made getting to the beach quick and easy.Cole was very responsive and helpful when we reached out to him, and we appreciated the large map with directions and pinned locations. That made finding things on the island easy effortless.The grandchildren loved their bunk beds and the Nintendo gaming system (their first exposure), and they also loved the slack line. With 4 children in the house, we were happy to have the washer and dryer available.This was our first trip to Kiawah, but we are hoping it isn’t our last. The grandchildren already said they want to return to this house next year. I would definitely recommend this house. It’s a great place to relax with family and make wonderful memories.

Perfect Family Home

We loved staying at Salty Air! The house is perfect for family hosting. We have a toddler and 3 older kids (8-12), and it was perfect for them. Bikes, helmets, hoop, basketballs, wagons, beach chairs, baby cups, high chair, pack n play, sand toys. You really don’t need anything, but groceries. The quality of bedding and towels are also worth noting. Everyone slept well. Great home!

Terrific location!

Home exactly as described. We had a large family group and the home has plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The dining area was perfect for meals and games! Very clean and the kitchen really has everything you need to prepare meals. Beds were comfy with plenty of blankets and extra pillows. We had a wonderful long weekend!! Thank you very much! Will definitely book this home again!!

Great family vacation house

We had a very comfortable stay over Thanksgiving ! Cole was terrific responding to any questions we had. The kids loved the outside obstacle course and we used the grill several nights. The beds and bathrooms were very comfortable. We have been visiting Kiawah for 30 years and would rent this house again on future visits!

Kiawah vacation

This house was just perfect for my family! We had 6 adults and 3 kids (5 years, 2 years and 4 months). Adults and kids had their own rooms. We could walk to the beach and playground and nature center. The house was so clean and well stocked. It had everything we needed. Bikes, toys and pack and play for the baby. The older kids loved the bunk beds & trundle bed. The owner was also very responsive to my texts prior to coming with questions about the house and area. Would highly recommend this house and beautiful island!!

Perfection in Paradise

It was a pleasure staying at Salt Water. It was the perfect place for our family to relax, recharge, and enjoy some time together. The home offers the best of both worlds with enough comfortable places to gather together to enjoy a movie, game, or meal while also providing enough room to separate for a quiet nap. Our host was very welcoming and did his best to make sure that we had everything we needed.

Perfect Long Weekend

My children, my parents and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. The layout of the house is perfect for a larger group and different age ranges. My kids loved the bikes and obstacle course. We had one issue while we were there and the owner responded promptly, went above and beyond, and had everything resolved by the end of the day. Highly recommend!

Great family visit

This property is more beautiful than the pictures detail. They have EVERYTHING you will need!!!! The town center is cute and quaint. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back!!!!

Our Kiawah home is perfect for our family of 7, even if we are hosting other friends and family with us. We are Ohio natives that love the beach! Situated toward the "front" of the island, this West Beach location offers perfect proximity to all the Kiawah has to offer. This spacious, remodeled home has plenty of room for the whole family to both spread out and come together. The large private yard is great for outdoor activities and BBQs. We have provided top-notch furnishings, beddings, and linens as we know a vacation isn't really a vacation if you aren't comfortable!
