I am the owner of the condo you rented from June 15th to June 22nd, 2019. This is our second home and we spend several months of the year there. I was very surprised to read the evaluation you gave our home. Most renters find the kitchen to be very well stocked with many pots, pans dishes, silverware, tablecloths and napkins. One renter joked that the only item missing from the kitchen was a garllic press that I promptly replaced. The guest room was updated last year with a new wooden floor, new window treatments, fresh paint and new pictures. We have been advised that the guests prefer a firm mattress rather than a soft one. In the last twenty two years this is the first complaint we received about the beds. The photos were professionally taken and the only change that occurred between the photo and the actual rooms was that we purchased two new rugs for the living room last year. Kiawah is on a barrier island and there is no way we can control the spider webs on the open porch. Leaves fall from the trees and onto the open deck. This is a force of nature that I cannot control. I spoke to the lady who cleans and has done so for many years. She and her helper said that the bathrooms were clean when they both left the condo. She also checked with the people who rented after you and she said that there was no problem with the drainage in the guest room tub. We will continue to check on this. There is always a paper on the regrigerator door that gives the directions to call "Personal Presence" and the phone number to assist with any problems. They stated that they did not hear from you that week. I'm sorry you didn't call either myself or Personal Presence when all these problems arose. I could have assisted you. I'm sure in the future you will find another Kiawah condo that you will enjoy. Kathleen O'Shea Leahy
