INTRODUCTION:
❁ Excellent location! Stay in a comfortable place after a hard day of work or site seeing the stunning Caverns in the Land of Enchantment! Walk 3-minutes to Pecos River & multiple parks! Comfortable large KING beds & large streaming TVs in every bedroom. Close to major amenities in Carlsbad. Tucked away from busy Carlsbad traffic in quiet neighborhood. Comes with heavy duty central heat and cooling system. Lots of parking space. Large pecan tree in the back gifting delicious nuts overnight.

THE SPACE:
❁ Very spacious home with large living room, dining space, ample kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Master bedroom has attached shower bathroom.

GUEST ACCESS:
❁ Laundry, kitchen, amenities and good overall space. Storage and backside locked room & shed is off limits.

GUEST INTERACTION:
❁ We do not stay in the premise. We leave the guests to enjoy their privacy, but available for questions or any issues.

NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW:
❁ Large driveways, wide streets, large front yards and less traffic than majority of Carlsbad clustered rundown streets. Small town Carlsbad is booming with traffic of a big town, but you are not in it.
❁ Walk to river and parks!

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
❁ ONLY EXACT COUNT of guests being BOOKED can stay. Non-compliance means immediate eviction. So please ensure that the number of guests in the booking matches with the number of guests staying. You can always add more guests to the reservation, and we will approve.
❁ REVIEW and FOLLOW all check-out information sent in the welcome message.
❁ NO taking away towels, utensils, beddings, comforters nor supplies. Please use what you need and leave the rest behind. We strive hard for every guest to have a great stay, when things go missing it takes time and effort to replenish and replace.
❁ Minor accidents happen and we understand that, so let us know right away, but failure to report could result in damage charges as we have rush to furnish it for the next guests.
❁ Being home away from home, we expect guests to enjoy their stays and at the same time be respectful of the place and neighborhood, follow all the rules, keep the place tidy before leaving and follow any check-out procedures mentioned in the welcome message.
❁ As a courtesy, please contact us first if you have any issues rather than letting us know in a public feedback.
❁ Trains do roll by 4-5 times a day. Bedrooms are on the other quieter side of the house making the additional sound proofing very effective.

My family and I had a very distressing experience at this property. Despite arriving at 2:00 AM after a long trip, we were unable to rest because the rental was in an unacceptable state.Cleanliness Issues:Upon arrival, the house was filthy. We found trash left behind, dirt on the floors, and dirty dishes in the kitchen. Most concerningly, the bedsheets and blankets were covered in visible stains and dirt. Because the linens were unusable, we had to stay up through the night washing laundry just so we had a clean place to sleep.Connectivity and Communication:The Wi-Fi was non-functional throughout our stay. When we reached out to the property manager, we were told to restart the router. After we informed her that this did not fix the problem, our messages were completely ignored for the remainder of the trip.Management Response:When we brought these serious cleanliness issues to the owner’s attention, the response was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Rather than taking responsibility or offering a solution, the owner blamed my family for the mess and insisted the property was clean, despite the clear evidence to the contrary.Conclusion:We are very disappointed by the lack of professionalism and the unsanitary conditions of this rental. I would not recommend staying here if you expect a clean environment or responsive management.

Not enchanted at all

Did not look like the pictures. The yard was in shambles. No where to sit outside. No up keep what so ever, broken recliner, horrible couch. ..i did talk to the cleaning lady, she was new and didnt know much about the owner. Id say its a click bait. Beware. We will never stay there again. Reminds me of a slum lord. Nice neighbors. Would like a refund.

Wish I felt as if host wanted guests

I wish the description and past reviews were more honest and true. We are a family with children who stayed two nights while visiting Carlsbad Caverns in April 2024. First the pros: good communication, comfortable king beds in 3 BRs, safe location. The home appeared to have been purchased just as income for short term rentals. There was no “love” put into the home or effort to make guests feel as if a home was welcoming them. The most important complaint is that the home was dirty: hair all over the bathroom- toilet, floor, shower; crumbs under bed sheets (yes, I always check around bed for bedbugs and although sheets were washed the bed was not vacuumed or dusted); pans dirty (any used had to be washed first; grease splatter with flies stuck to it on walls next to stove; fan was dusty; light fixture had dead bugs in it. Besides the uncleanliness, there were ways in which the host could have better prepared the property for guests: cotton sheets, better quality toiletries (splurge a little on guests, we paid more than we would have at a comparable hotel, so at least offer comfortable quality soap), offer coffee, sugar, tea, paint the place properly (water stains came thru paint which looked slapped on, address broken furniture ( the arm to the recliner was broken). In conclusion, the effort put in was the effort received. I hope this review helps the owner so that they may be more successful in hosting.

Carlsbad caverns with family

Overall the house was comfortable. Plenty of room for the whole family. Neighborhood was safe and felt comfortable going for walks outside. Close to a lot of restaurants and shops.

Comfortable house in convenient location

Our family stayed at this property while visiting Carlsbad Caverns. We were really glad to be so close to the riverwalk area for running, playgrounds, etc. It's all within walking distance (note: you will need to cross a railroad crossing on the street to get there) . The neighborhood that the house is in is different from the house but seemed safe. There are some barking dogs in neighboring properties but there's nothing to be done about that. The property itself seems to be in a "flipping" transition. All the things that guests would care about are there - comfortable king-sized beds, new flooring, big TV screens in every bedroom, lots of media streaming options, etc. However, there are some things that aren't updated yet - the kitchen, small bathroom - but these aren't really critical (to me at least). Communication with property management was pretty amazing - it was always fast and responsive to our needs.

Host was amazing. Her responses were quick. House is exactly how it’s seen in the pictures. It was a great get away for us. I will definitely be back for future stays.

Good place, great value

Inside the house Everything is updated and comfortable. The house exceeded my expectations and I would and likely will stay there again, it was prefect for what we needed.

Property was as good as advertised.

Overall it was a very good experience. Dev was very responsive with communications and my requests. The house was very clean and in a very nice neighborhood. The neighbor’s dogs barked occasionally during the night, but that’s beyond Dev’s control. We would definitely stay there again.
