Welcome to Slack Tide

Park your car and walk everywhere! You are less than a five minute walk to anything you need. The spacious fenced in yard is a great place to let the kids run around, lay in the sun, grill out with the group, or have a few drinks on one of the decks with friends. Your bungalow is private, but close to the action, which makes for a perfect beach getaway.

What is Unique?

- Two person desk for remote work or remote schooling
- Cable and Roku in all rooms - because sports!
- Two large closets in master - one large enough for a pack n' play to fit comfortably
- Three outdoor porches/decks to sit and relax
- Parking for up to four cars

The cottage was adorable with a lovely yard and convenient outdoor shower. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms exceeded expectations. The location can’t be beat- right in the middle of everything but private as well. Looking forward to staying again.

Perfect Spot at Folly

Our stay at the Folly Boho Bungalow was absolutely perfect! The location is unbeatable—just a short 3-minute walk to the beach and steps from restaurants, shopping, and live music. We loved being able to park the car and walk everywhere. The fenced yard was great for our kids to play safely, and the porches were ideal for morning coffee and evening drinks.The home itself is thoughtfully set up with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The remote work desk was a great touch, and having Roku and cable in every room was perfect for winding down. The master closets were huge, and we easily fit our pack n’ play inside. You can tell the owners have really thought about comfort and convenience.This was the perfect beach getaway, and we can’t wait to come back.

Short family getaway

We had a wonderful time at this bungalow, so close to everything! The host was very flexible in letting us park at the house both before check-in and after checkout for some extra beach time. The kitchen seemed well equipped, but honestly we didn’t cook much since there are so many great restaurants within a 2 minute walk. The outside shower is great for getting the sand off after a long beach day. Never even turned on the TVs, even with two 4-year olds in tow - they preferred running around the enclosed courtyard/yard. Top notch experience!

Fall break get away!

Had a wonderful stay! The house was cute. Loved the fenced yard providing privacy. Good location and convenient to many things in Folly (pier, beach, stores and restaurants). The property manager was very responsive to all communications. Will definitely stay again!

Bob Marley Bungalow

So, we come to Folly yearly and this is one of our top picks for location. We were close to all the local dives and most importantly close to the pickleball courts. Beds were super comfortable and the the patio is area so fun for family hang out. Would rent again!

Girls weekend

Great experience and vrbo for a girls weekend. Everything was very clean and nice for us. Convenient to walk everywhere. I will say the beds could have been a little more comfy and the lighting throughout the house was a bit dark due to not much natural light. but overall great place and weekend!

Adorable & Perfect

Lisa is a wonderful host who communicates pro-actively, thoughtfully, and kindly. The house is an oasis. Quiet and private but a short walk from everything. The outdoor space is lush and pretty with string lights, a grill, and dining and lounge seating. Care is taken to make you feel welcome and at-home. Thank you for an awesome stay :)

Girls Weekend Getaway

We had the best time in Folly for a long weekend with girlfriends. The house was exactly what we needed; a nice blend of indoor space and ample outdoor space for entertaining (for when the weather wasn’t too muggy). The location was a convenient walk to the beach and downtown restaurants and bars. A local taxi was our go-to for trips into Charleston and the airport. We can’t wait to come back and visit! Lisa was also so easy to work with and maintained clear communication from pre-arrival through departure.

Absolutely amazing!!!

There were so many incredible things about this rental it’s hard to know where to start. Location: this is the perfect location for anyone wanting to stay in folly. One minute walk to the local market, 2 min walk to the downtown shops or the beach. Very easy Uber ride into Charleston or the airport. It was so convenient! Lisa was also incredible. She was very responsive, gave clear instructions for things like taking out the trash and answered all of our questions! Check in and check out was very convenient even with people arriving at all different times. The space itself is decorated so cute. The color scheme and decorations just put you in the beach mood. The bedrooms were very spacious (even the room with the bunk beds comfortably slept four adults). The master bath is HUGE and gorgeous. It was all very clean and functional. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a long weekend or even an extended trip. Perfect for a girls weekend or bachelorette party. 1000/10!
