4ft heated pool*, toddler pool, basketball court*, tennis court, bocce ball court, shuffleboard, Sandcastle playground, putting green, paddle boarding and kayaking*, catch and release fishing. Parking Passes ($5 each) and Wristbands ($15 each) are required for all guests ages 4 and up mid-May through September.

Sleepin' Inn rents with a 7-night minimum with check-in and check-out on Friday during peak season (mid-June to mid-August).

Lots of places to get space when it was needed and we could all be together too. People should know bathrooms, and we loved having three of them, are a little awkward. Master bath has shower inside a jacuzzi tub, so it is a big step to get into shower. This could be a challenge for some. Showers in the other two bathrooms are hilariously tiny, as in our 8-year-old grandson said he could barely turn around in it. But it’s vacations so you make the best of it. Place was well decorated and maintained, and ceiling fans in bedrooms were appreciated.

Completely satisfied with rental property. The only negative beyond the property owners control: the community pool always seemed to be crowded. The developers did not make it large enough in my opinion. We were impressed with the check-in/out procedure, we were sent an email with the door lock code, and inside the rental were our parking passes and wristbands waiting for us on the table. No need to check in or out at a separate location.

We absolutely loved Sleepin’ Inn. The location was perfect right between the beach and the resort pool area. The house had really nice living spaces and there was plenty of room for our entire family (6 adults and 2 kids). Everyone commented on how great the outdoor spaces were as well. It was so nice to enjoy a cup of coffee in the mornings on the front porch and also end the day out there or by the fire pit with the entire family. The bedroom spaces were lovely with more than enough storage. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful home in Beachwalk!

I went to Michigan city over Memorial Day weekend with my immediate family (husband and 3 young kids), my father, my mother-in-law, and my brother-in-law. We have stayed in the Beachwalk complex before and this is a perfect getaway for kids & adults. There are lots of great things to do with family such as the pool, beach, zoo, hiking, and playgrounds. PROS: The house was nice and clean, great location (few minute walk from pool/lake and beach), nice bunk beds for the kids, and management was very attentive. For example, we had some issues with the high chair and TV's and they did connect with us quickly and were committed to resolving the issues. Everything was very organized upon arrival including our wristbands for the pool, parking passes, and a QR code detailing nearby attractions. It has a very "homey" feel to it and there are plenty of seating areas throughout the house for leisure, mealtimes, etc. CONS: The pre-arrival first impression could be improved. We were informed prior to arrival that there would only be two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and guests were encouraged to bring their own for stays beyond two days. Additionally we were told that soap/shampoo would not be provided (which ultimately did not turn out to be the case). For the cost of renting this beautiful home, these are items that guests should not need to worry about while on vacation. Another source of frustration stemmed from the various fees for renting baby equipment (pack n play, high chair, etc.). This is something we hadn't encountered during previous VRBO stays as we always filter to "family friendly" and generally these items are provided if they are available. We were offered to rent these items. The frustration was compounded by the fact that we found a high chair and booster seat in the supply closet on the last day of our trip after agreeing to rent items. A few other suggestions include: providing pool towels, expanding beyond basic cable (only a few TV station were available, the rest asked you to subscribe), and including more kids toys/books in the room with bunk beds. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the home/location. We would highly recommend this home and believe that a few minor adjustments would help.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time visiting Beach Walk Resort. We absolutely loved it. Sleepin' Inn is the place to stay. The entire house was beautifully decorated. EVERYTHING was so clean and new. We enjoyed our evening roasting marshmallows on the fire. The walk to the beach was a VERY short distance. We were happy that there was a wagon and beach chairs that we could use. We didn't have to bring them from home. We were more than satisfied staying here. We can't wait to come here next year. The front desk staff was very friendly. A+

Great summer getaway!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is very nicely appointed...comfy beds and blankets, kitchen loaded with all you need. Location is ideal for walking to all amenities.
