Sunset Villas Unit 101B

Perfect location overlooking the pool and the beautiful turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Sunset Condos are located between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach within a gated community with your own private beach. Great restaurants, bars and coffee shops are all within walking distance. Cycling, jogging and walking on the fantastic 30A is at your doorstep.

This spacious condo is furnished with bedding, linen, beach and bath towels. We also include 4 backpack style beach chairs and an umbrella. After a day at the beach relax on the spacious patio overlooking the pool and ocean with stunning sunsets.

This first floor condo is conveniently set on one level, so no steps to get to the pool (pool heated November - April).

*** Master Bedroom is very spacious and has a walk in closet and full bathroom with tub and walk in shower, with 2 separate vanities.

*** Queen bedroom with full en-suite bathroom with tub/shower combo.

***Queen bedroom with tub/shower combo off the hall.

We provide you with a startup supply of paper and cleaning products.
All showers are equipped with soap/shampoo/conditioner.
All vanities and kitchen have antibacterial hand soap dispensers.

The host was uncommunicative. He/She left all information regarding the problematic access until you were booked and standing in the kitchen. Had i known, I would have reconsidered booking. The collection of straw/willow / cane chairs, settees and dining chairs were particularly uncomfortable. The Master Bedroom was awkwardly arranged in the only way possible given the out-of-proportion furniture.As for "welcoming"??? The check-out time was posted as 10:00 am. The only access to the unit ws through the front door adjacent to the elevators AND only by use of a "Code". We had loaded our vehicle by 9:45 that morning and were going to use the bathroom facilities before getting on the road. Surprisingly, they "Code" no longer worked and we were locked out.

The pictures don’t show just how spacious this rental is! You can walk or bike to all the restaurants and shops. It was great to sit on the patio and listen to the waves every morning. We will definitely be back!

Everything is great at this condo. This was my second year staying there. The only issue was the TV for the first two days could not figure out how to do the channels but when message the owner, they responded back with details. Wish your dryers were great the only issues you don’t get the view of the beach, but we’re not in our condo all day long. We were out and about other than that five star review.

The location is great. The condo was very clean. We really liked the priviate beach access that was so close to our unit. My only issue was in the communication with the property manager. She was probably the least helpful of all that I have ever had--and she was a little bit rude in some of her responses to our questions. In speaking with another guest in our building, he had the same experience with her in the past--so apparently it has not been with just us in the communication with this particular property manager. Other than that, our stay was wonderful!

We had a great trip to Rosemary Beach and our accommodations at "South of 30A Condo" exceeded our expectations. Our condo was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was great; close to shops and several good restaurants.Our host was very responsive both before and during our trip, even letting us know that we could access the unit earlier than the posted check in time.We would certainly book this property again!

PROS: location is PERFECT! steps to the beach & very convenient to Rosemary & Alys communities via foot. the unit is fully furnished.CONS: bring your own bath towels unless you plan to wash towels every day. the unit only came with 6 bath towels (& we had 7 guests) -I had to go purchase 6 more towels so we didn't have to do laundry every day!property mgr was responsive - but not polite or customer friendly. try not to bother her if you don't have to.

Nice Condo - Beach way too crowded to enjoy

I am sure this location is great during the off season but definitely would not recommend during the busy season. It is advertised as a private beach which felt misleading. You can only set up up your personal beach chairs and umbrella on the public beach (no cool cabana or bishumi umbrellas allowed) - which is an extremely small square, we were elbow to elbow, everyone playing their own music (so loud) and you needed to be down there by 6am to even get a space. The "private" beach is only available to you if choose to rent the beach chairs and umbrella through Dolce Vita - which are 150 a day - and were sold out months before our trip. There is a quarter mile of empty beaches to your right, but the houses there own that beach and prevent you from being able to sit there - so you have 100s of people crammed into a small public square of beach and then tons of completely empty beach right next them.

The unit was great
liked the closeness to the beach access and thankful for the beach chairs and umbrella. The communication with property management regarding bike rentals and wrist bands was not clear. The air conditioning in the unit was great. It was clean. Better communication on the amount of toilet paper would be nice. We ran out rather quickly. And unfortunately we tried to follow the directions for check out and we did not have enough dishwasher detergent to start the dishwasher.

We loved it!

We immediately thought the pictures of this listing didn’t do it justice. The entrance was so beautiful. We traded higher level view of the gulf for this first level unit and it was amazing for us. We have an 8 year old so no elevator rides and it was easy to walk back to and from beach and pool. We could walk to dinner each night, and loved the location. I was having some issues with my phone while we were there, and I did feel like I was annoying the property manager and she was quick to reply but wasn’t the warmest with reply’s. I only wanted to be sure I knew exactly what was expected. Everyone else we came in contact with on the property were so very kind. Security guards were placed at gates. The beach was very crowded, this location is a drop off zone for nearby places. The unit came with 4 chairs and an umbrella, so our first day my husband got out there at 7AM and we got in the 2nd row. The other days he’d go at 6:00, and we got first row. So be prepared it’s a busy beach. So beautiful though!

DEEP cleaning needed!

First, the location of this property is amazing, as it's ocean front with pool within steps to the unit. However, we have stayed at several other units in this building and they were completely remodeled and super clean. This one unfortunately is in need of a DEEP cleaning, new furniture, and new floors, as it felt dirty the entire stay! Not to mention the amount of dust in the air vents and the toilets running all night! Lastly, even tough the pool is right outside the back door, you still are required to walk around from the front to access (unless your the owner with a key to the gate)...also having one key fob per 2 vehicles was a challenge from time to time when security wasn't at front gates to let you in. I would stay again if the unit was cleaned and remodeled as it was a great location.

The Condo was beautiful , Plenty of room for my family. Some of the lightbulbs were out the shower heads need to be replaced, I would rent this condo again. We did miss the ocean view this condo is ground level. The Owner was good to work with as well. See you next year 2025..
