Come enjoy the white sand beaches and all that Gulf Shores has to offer. This 4th floor beachfront condo at Island Winds West is the perfect location in the center of Gulf Shores, just steps to The Hangout and the many shops and restaurants in the heart of this beautiful little beach town. Just west of the main public beach, you are in walking distance to many of the attractions and events. Simply put, this is THE best location in town and the beachfront views are unparalleled. This great unit has been recently updated with a new color scheme, bedding and ceiling fans. Features include: fully equipped kitchen, gulf front pool, kiddie pool, fitness center, walk to restaurants and shops, closest complex to The Hangout and Shrimp Festival, washer and dryer, cable TV, internet and DVD. The unit sleeps 4 with a king bed in the bedroom and queen sleeper sofa in living room and high-end cotton linens.

Complex Amenities; Outdoor pool, kiddie pool, fitness room, and BBQ area

Be sure to book this unit early for the Shrimp Festival and Hangout Music Festival because it is in high demand.

Parking is limited to one (1) car. You will receive an email in advance of your arrival to register and pay for your parking pass. If you do not receive it, please let us know. You must complete this step in advance of your arrival. Upon arrival, you will need to visit the Island Winds East front desk to pick up your parking pass. Island Winds West is charging $50 per parking pass. This price can change at any time, without notice.

Peaceful Retreat

Just a few days to get away and clear my head. The property offered everything listed and views for miles. Perfect location and gorgeous white sand.

Not clean and not accurate

Was not satisfied with our stay. Loved the location however description said we were allowed 2 parking passes (we had to pay for) but once there was only allowed 1.. and also very rude about it stating “not my problem” when asking where my daughter was supposed to park. Also there were lots of open parking spots and STILL was not allowed to get the 2 parking passes mentioned in description. Condo was FILTHY. Sand was still on the floor AND in the bed
 although we were still charged a cleaning fee! Do not recommend at all. For the price we paid for 2 nights we should have gotten something much nicer/cleaner and more accommodating.

Noisy and terrible kitchen

1. The a/c is crazy loud. 2. The kitchen has a giant microwave on the counter, an awkward sink and faucet, ancient dishwasher that is right up against the oven door. Coffee filter basket missing. There was egg yolk on the a bunch of the dinner plates! Nasty! 3. The bathroom faucet makes everything and you wet.

My winter home!

Very beautiful view of gulf all day long, peaceful and relaxing, it does need some appliances replaced and professional cleaning of furniture, chair cushions and decorative pillows etc, otherwise we would love to come again

Needs work

Front door handle half off on front door, 1 roll toilet paper, paint peeling above TV. Been like that for awhile seen one review n still haven’t touched up. Simple stuff when you walk in spend a thousand dollars n no paint should be peeling, front door should have been correct. Wires coming out n no cover around TV . Won’t stay there again because I can get better , lot better place for the money we spent. Good location only good thing

Mommy son trip

This condo was a perfect size for my 5 year and myself but it definitely needs a paint job. The paint is peeling in several places on the walls and towel hooks for bathroom towels would help. Having kids it would have been helpful to have some plastic bowls for cereal and snacks. The blankets in the closet smelled like they hadn’t been washed and I wasn’t able to fit them in the wash machine because it’s small. Other than that we had a great time at the condo!! Great view of the ocean, nice cool air conditioning, awesome tvs, and perfect location to everything!!! Would also have loved to have a keurig in the kitchen for coffee. Thanks for a great stay!!

Good for two days at beach

Great location and access to beach. Pool is nice as well. Room was okay and perhaps a bit dated. Looked larger in pictures than in reality. Considering the amount spent, i found it odd that we are only allotted one roll of toilet, paper, and no coffee filters or coffee available. With a little more service, I would have rated this higher

Disappointed but great view

Unfortunately the bathroom was dirty when we arrived. We cleaned the toilet with bleach we purchased and noticed even the toilet brush holder had “residue” left in it. Floor had hairs on tile floor AND floor board trim. Gross. Top of refrigerator filthy. Appeared we paid top $ for a place we needed to clean first instead of enjoying the gulf after driving 21 hours to get there.
