Villa Costa Mar, is a stunning four-bedroom, five-bath villa with an infinity edge swimming pool, gorgeous ocean views and a putting/chipping green and bocce ball directly on this 2.5 acre property. There are three bedrooms with a king size bed and one bedroom with two queen beds. The villa comfortably sleeps 10. Each bedroom has an ocean view and walkout/balcony, lavish furnishings, a flat screen TV, is air-conditioned and has its own private bathroom. The living room has a large satellite TV, DVD player with a superb system, IPod docking station with CD player, and inside and outside speakers. The upper terraces provides another place to sit and relax and gaze upon the ocean or sip a delicious cocktail. Villa Costa Mar is located just 30 minutes from Liberia Airport and 5 minutes to the beach.

We also have on the property an additional fully furnished amazing apartment suite, featuring: 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Living Room, Kitchen with ocean view available for an additional $250 per night for larger groups. This beautiful apartment suite will sleep 2 people.

Our amazing chef can also be available to cook all your meals for an additional fee.

We stayed at Villa Costa Mar for a week with our 2 Adult Children and their spouses, and our 18month old Grandson (7 people total) The Villa is beautiful and the views spectacular. We ate outside in the pavilion almost every night. The owner Rick - responded quickly to my questions and was very nice. Luis - the house manager was fantastic and available for questions and help the entire week. We hired the recommended chef, Edwin, and he was phenomenal. He fed us a range of foods, from Sushi, chilaquiles, tacos, filets and stuffed Lobster tails. The Villa also had plenty of space for us to gather together, and also to spread out. The pool is beautiful, though on the cool side because it is not heated. On the lower level of the property is a fun golf green and bocce ball court, the Astro-Turf does need to be replaced. The house and grounds in general could use a refresh. However, that did not affect our enjoyment of the property and our comfort on the trip. The location of the Villa between Hermosa and CoCo beach made it easy to get around via Ubers and Taxis. Overall, we do highly recommend this Villa for your vacation in Costa Rica

Wonderful Property

We stayed for 2 weeks and had 3 other couples with us. We loved the home. It is perfect to share with other couples because all the bedrooms are equal and have ensuite bathrooms. The private chef service was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

A+ View and manager, dated house

We stayed here for a week. House was large enough for our family, price was reasonable, and location was convenient. The house overall was fine, but was showing its age (in our opinion). We enjoyed some meals with the chef and Luis (the manager) was super friendly and attentive. There were a bunch of small things that we just managed through (low water pressure, low powered A/C that they fixed by the end, no dishwasher) but the biggest bummer for us was the unheated pool. The listing said heated and it surely wasn’t, unless you count the sun. That had a major negative impact to our time at the house and candidly hurt the quality of our trip.

FANTASTIC!!

We absolutely LOVED Villa Costa Mar and everything it had to offer!! The house was beautiful inside and out - from the decor to the furniture in every single room of the house. The outside space was awesome and the view....breath taking! The pool was incredible and we loved the putting greens and bocci ball area. We spent the majority of our time on the patio and in the pool because it was so perfect! The area was very scenic and super quiet! We even had several howler monkeys in the trees in the back yard that were fun to watch! The owner Rick was wonderful to work with - he was very helpful and prompt! Luis, the caretaker was awesome, very caring and always there when we needed something. And Juan the personal chef we hired was worth every penny! Every meal he made exceeded our expectations!! We would 100% recommend Villa Costa Mar to anyone and if we ever return to Costa Rica, we'd definitely stay there again!

Trip to Costa

The house was great - exactly as advertised. The chef services were on point and the food was excellent. Luis’ help with everything at the house made things easy and stress free.

Great time in Costa Rica

Really enjoyed staying at Rick's house as the house was great(as advertised) and the team of people Rick has to manage the property and his guests were fantastic(Luis, Allan, and Juan).

Perfect stay in Costa rica

This house was perfect for our 2 families - 1 family of 4 and 1 family of 5. We loved the outdoor spaces especially the pool. Luis, the caretaker, was the best and took care of anything we needed. We hired the chef, Juan, for one breakfast and one dinner and the food was amazing. The house was stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Not all VRBOs are stocked this well. The view was perfect and lots of wildlife can be found around the house.

9th Annual Friends Trip

Everything about this property was top notch. Great location, comfortable for four couples both inside and out, helpful house manager, and excellent supporting staff. Alan and his transportation crew got us where we wanted to go, and had some good suggestions for things to do outside the house. Rick was excellent to work with - don't be afraid to communicate early and often. The ace in the hole was Juan Luis, the chef that came in the last 4 days. Simply wow - highly recommend anyone staying here request him for your whole stay! Amazing food, probably the best we have had anywhere in the world, and we've been doing this for nearly a decade!

Spectacular Vacation Home

This home was absolutely amazing. We originally booked a different home in Costa Rica and had to move after the first night. The owner Rick was so great with communication and got the house ready for us to stay in the matter of hours. The home is very private and safe in a gated community and sits on a few acres of land. The home is very spacious on the inside with each bedroom having a breathtaking view of the water and it’s own private bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with a huge kitchen table and plenty of room to gather. The outdoor area is incredible with a ton of shaded areas, a constant breeze, and a gorgeous pool. The home also has a is a beautiful outdoor kitchen area, pitch and putting greens, and bocce ball court which we loved playing in the evenings. Luis and his wife Leanna were the caretakers of the home and cleaned/took care of the property daily. They were so sweet and helpful and we really enjoyed seeing them around during our stay! Oso (bear) is the house dog that would stop by for a few minutes daily to say hi which we loved. This home is only a few short minutes to the beach and about 15 minutes to Playas del Coco where we did most of our grocery shopping. The house manager Noel was helpful in setting up tours/activities for us during our stay. I hope one day we can come back to this house, it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish!
