You may notice we don’t have many reviews yet on vrbo. We are new to this platform but not new to rental property management, If you would like to read some other reviews, Octopus Garden on Okaloosa Island on FB or ECBYO (dot com) /9032 has more pictures and videos and direct access to me, Virginia :) So don't let lack of reviews worry you, if the algorithm actually showed you our unit here, it means we will be a perfect fit, and I can assure you, we will go above and beyond to make your stay amazing.

Without further ado - Welcome to Octopus Garden on Okaloosa Island, your new home away from home! Our first-floor, Gulf front condo at Azure is the ideal vacation spot. Walk right out your door to the gorgeous views of the emerald Gulf coast waters!

Our beautiful 3-bedroom, 3-bath condo is ideal for families and includes TWO sets of Beach service (four chairs and two umbrellas!). This beachfront property is meticulously landscaped and designed with 2 large pools (one heated seasonally), 2 hot tubs and a splash pad area just for the kids.

Our 1st floor unit has the perfect location -- walk directly out to the pool or beach with no stairs or elevators needed! Plus, we've made traveling with kids as easy as possible. We have a high chair, booster seats, a stroller, rails for the lower bunks, and a pack and play. We even have a baby monitor so you can sit by the pool and listen for your little one during nap time. And yes, it even reaches to the hot tub so you can relax in the hot tub after the kids are asleep!

Two of the bedrooms feature king-size beds and spacious baths while the kids' room has 2 sets of bunk beds with a fun beach mural to liven things up, plus their own bathroom. Our kitchen is well supplied and a joy to use - where else can you make dinner as you watch the waves roll in? Our kids enjoy playing on our large fenced patio where we love to sit and watch Okaloosa Island's can’t-miss sunsets.

A beautiful condo and instant access to the pool and a gorgeous beach on your doorstep, this spacious home is perfect for your family. We welcome you to our home and want to do everything we can to make your stay enjoyable. Our goal is to have you enjoy our place as much as we do!

Our third trip to Azure and it was great as usual. Quiet and relaxing.

Property was clean and plenty of space. Owner provided many kitchen items, utensils, and beach toys. Azure now has charcoal grills that worked well, on our previous stays we were used to the propane grills for faster cooking to spend more time with the family.

Wonderful Condo and Great Communication

Our stay here was everything we thought it would be! Great location and easy access to everything. We did not have to get back in the car all week! Virginia was outstanding to work with and communicated everything we needed to know for a wonderful visit. We will definitely be back, and would recommend to everyone!

My name is Virginia Strunk and my husband Randy and I purchased this property from the original owner at the end of 2020 as a place to make priceless family memories by the sea! We named it the Octopus Garden because just as an octopus makes their little slice of paradise by putting a garden of shells and coral outside of their lairs, so have we! We have put our heart and soul into making this ocean home a slice of paradise, and you will find some coral and shells around the place too!

I am a LCSW/Marriage and Family Therapist with a passion for foster care, all things beach and ocean related, and spending time with my loved ones (especially at the beach haha). As a mom of 5, I know how difficult it is to plan a vacation and all the time and expense that goes into it. I also know how arriving to a not well kept property can really ruin the whole trip. Or when something unexpected goes wrong, how annoying it is to wait on hold only to finally talk to someone that has never even been to Florida, much less the particular property. That is exactly why I decided to handle all property management myself - so that I personally can make sure that what is advertised is what you get, and that your expectations are not just met but exceeded. If you have questions or need anything, you have my direct number and I genuinely care about you having an amazing trip with your loved ones.

We chose Azure because it is a smaller resort and the grounds are immaculately maintained. There will always be room by the pool, and no waking up at 6 am to stand in line for beach chairs. It is great for families and still nice enough for couples to feel like it is a retreat.

Azure is one of the only place on the island that can see the Gulf from the 1st floor. We love walking out our back gate and being steps away from the beach, with no stairs in between. It makes all the difference to not have to go through a lobby or take an elevator every time you need an extra drink or a break from the sun. We also love that our kids can nap inside while we sit by the pool or in the hot tub with the baby monitor- it is that close!

We think the best thing about going to the beach is the beach! We love walking out our back gate and being steps away from the ocean. It makes all the difference in the world to not have to go up and down stairs, take elevators, and go through a lobby every time you need an extra drink or a break from the sun. We also love that our kids can nap inside while we sit by the pool or in the hot tub with the baby monitor- it is that close!

We love how Okaloosa Island has the most beautiful white, sugary sand and turquoise water. We have the benefits of being near Destin without the crowds as hotels and condos have a 6 floor maximum- no high rises! There are fireworks on the pier Wednesdays during the summer, icecream and mini-golf across the street, and live music at AJ's right around the corner.
