Two bedroom Duplex, Sleeps 4

Welcome to Patriots Point, a 1000 sq. ft. duplex vacation rental nestled in the heart of Havelock, North Carolina, home of Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. Patriots Point is conveniently located off of Hwy 70 and Hwy 101, and minutes from the front gate of MCAS Cherry Point. Ideally situated between historic New Bern and the beautiful beaches and charming towns of the Crystal Coast, to include Atlantic Beach, Morehead City, Beaufort and Emerald Isle. Patriots Point is the perfect location for families visiting loved ones stationed at MCAS Cherry Point.

Patriots Point sleeps up to four people, featuring 2 bedrooms, each appointed with a queen bed. The master bedroom has an adjoining bathroom with tub/shower. The second bathroom also includes a tub/shower. Linens and towels provided.

This duplex is adjacent to our other vacation rental, Kobe Cabana, VRBO #1563156. Both properties are also listed on Arbnb if you prefer to use that platform. If you are looking for a larger home please check out Coachman Cottage, VRBO#1329209.

Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen and dining area with seating for four, an inviting living area, and a private, fenced backyard with a pergola over the patio, fire-pit, and BBQ grill. Ample parking available with private driveway.

Please be advised the home is equipped with a Ring Doorbell at the front entrance . The camera provides a view of the exterior front door, sidewalk and portions of the front yard. This is the only camera on the property and is for exterior security.

Check-in is 4:00 pm / Check-out is 11:00 am.

Host information:

We are Rose & Gary, a retired USMC couple who have lived in Havelock for over 25 years. We have enjoyed turning our duplex into a cozy vacation rental. We can be reached by phone, text or email and are available should you need our assistance.

Things to Do:

Havelock is centrally located for a vacationer interested in discovering the history, charm, and adventure of our slice of Eastern North Carolina. Within a short half hour drive, you can be touring North Carolina’s first capital at the Tryon Palace, enjoying a Pepsi at its birthplace, spending a day with your toes in the sand, taking a ferry ride out to Cape Lookout, or seeing the wild horses on the Shackleford Banks. And that is just the beginning of the fun our area offers.

Super clean and cozy house!

My wife and I just took our daughter on our first family vacation and stayed here! Absolutely loved the stay. The place was very clean, check in/out was very easy, and the personalized welcome sign was a great touch! We really enjoyed staying here and hope to rebook next time we visit family in New Bern.

As Always Pleasant

As always, the stay at Patriots Point was pleasant. Rose is an excellent communicator and helps throughout the process, from pre-reservation (answering questions) through the stay and the checkout process. I would highly recommend this condo and their other properties.

Havelock rental

Great place to stay in Havelock!

This is a wonderful property! We very much enjoyed the homey feel of this condo, which is close to everything. Kitchen has what you need, and beds are very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Military Retirement

Visit to Cherry Point

We had a wonderful stay at Patriot Point. The place looked exactly like the photos. The house and yard were clean and well maintained, with everything that you could possibly need, including yard games. Our hosts communicated very well and left beverages and treats for our arrival. Despite our first impression when we drove into the neighborhood, we found the street to be very quite with friendly people. We would stay again, if in the area. The location is very close to Cherry Point, perfect for staying at when visiting someone on base. We took day trips to the beach and New Bern during our stay.

Beautiful

Felt like living in a magazine from the moment we walked in. Rose and Gary have thought of everything. Comfortable Beds & linens. Awesome cookware, soft lush bath towels, decorated to perfection. Cleaner than a hospital! loved the keyless entry! My father is 89 a retired Marine and he did not complain about a thing!

Wonderful Vacation Rental

Patriot’s Point is just beautiful! Warm, welcoming, super clean, fresh, functional, comfortable, beautifully decorated with really nice furnishings and very interesting artwork and books (all USMC based
 very inspiring)! Rose and Gary have thought of everything to make you feel welcome and at home! From the personalized Welcome sign and letter, to the fully stocked kitchen that even had welcome treats! We’ve stayed in many rentals and this property AND ITS HOSTS, surpass them all. No contest. Just what the doctor ordered

Perfect location close to shopping/ entertainment and restaurants, but in a nice quiet neighborhood. Over the years of raising our 3 daughters in Havelock, we have been active in the community by volunteering in youth sports. We have served on the boards and coached t-ball, Little League baseball and Pop Warner football.

After having been stationed in California, Hawaii and North Carolina, we chose to settle in Havelock because of it's friendly small town atmosphere. Having owned and managed rental properties for the past 15 years, we were excited to renovate our former long term rental property and turn it into our second vacation rental.
