It's vacation time! Enjoy a stroll on the beach, pickle ball and tennis courts, two hot tubs and two pools. Then head out for an awesome dinner and entertainment at HarborWalk or many other great restaurants in Destin.

This Gulf front building is a short walk from the turquoise water, with no major streets to cross. Park at the door and bring your luggage in with ease, no flights of stairs or elevators to navigate. Enjoy an equipped kitchen and comfortable seating throughout. Wake up from a lovely night's sleep on our comfortable new mattresses and linens. After your morning coffee, or your late morning mimosas, the pool and beach await you! Come enjoy some beach fun and relaxation! This is not your average beach rental!

Our corner ground floor condo makes you feel like you have your own large backyard, where you can throw the football or frisbee, all while just a short walk from two pools, powdery sand beaches, turquoise waters, and gorgeous sunsets.

Sunset Corner is on exclusive Holiday Isle, a peninsula surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor.

This lovely condo sleeps 6 guests. We also provide comfy beach chairs, that each have their own small cooler attached.

It is suggested to purchase travel insurance, Hurricane season is from June 1 to Dec 1, and there will be no refunds for cancelled bookings due to hurricanes or mandatory evacuations.

Having a car is helpful, but we have Uber and Lyft readily available.

We are not permitted to rent to anyone under 25 and cannot accept pets, per HOA rules.

We encourage all guests to buy travel insurance. Rental agreement must be signed and security deposit secured before check-in instructions will be sent.

**There is a 4% cancellation fee, even if you cancel within the cancellation period.**

Wonderful condo. Great location and close to the pools and beach. Very comfortable beds and great kitchen. This was our second stay at this condo and we are already planning on staying again next summer.

The condo was in the perfect ground floor location to the pools, hot tubs, and path to the beach. I'm normally not a fan of the ground floor, but this one is different. Be aware the pavilion is currently leveled and needs to be rebuilt, but the grills are still there. Our family can't wait to go back!

Family loved this place. First floor is great! Not ocean view but super close to pools, bbq are and area kids can play. Unit super clean. Definitely be back!

Spacious apartment with a terrace in the back. Short walk to the beach. Nice chairs and umbrellas already set up on beach and attendant works for tips. Short drive to many restaurants, shops etc. Host was very responsive to a concern we had and it was taken care of immediately.

The room was upgraded very nicely. It was wonderful to have the master and extra bedroom with a full bed and bunk beds available. Having beach toys and chairs available on the patio was also a huge help! We had everything we needed. We also really loved being able to walk the beach and the Bay everyday. The warm pool was actually warm which helped when the wind was cool. We also loved having shuffleboard right outside our room and having full access to the tennis and pickleball courts. We absolutely loved our stay and it was a great choice for our active family!

Peaceful and relaxing

We had a lovely stay! We specifically enjoyed the short walk to the beach on the walking pavers. Even though the weather was still a bit chilly the pools were heated and the kids throughly enjoyed swimming in them. The kids also enjoyed using the tennis courts and basketball hoop. Beds are cozy and all electronics were of easy use! We enjoyed Destin very much! Thank you!

Perfect family get away!

We almost just stayed home as I travel for work a lot. I knew I needed a true getaway and we definitely did just that! We had the most relaxing vacation ever in our favorite place! Destin is a home away from home spot for us in general and we felt even more at home at The Islander! The people, the place and the community are amazing!

Lovely week in Destin

We had a nice week at the Islander condo/resort. Check in had a hitch but the host made it right and we had a quiet evening on the beach before getting situated. The property was very clean and the location is perfect for a family beach week in the panhandle. Overall we would return if we wanted a nice place in Destin again.

We had a fantastic time. The property was clean with a beautiful scenery around the property. Acess to the beach where we spent alot of our time was perfect. Our teenagers had the best time ever. Nice place to stay!

Very clean. Only couple of suggestions. More beach/pool towels (we had 5 & there were only 4), maybe some new beach chairs and hang some hooks throughout place for both bathroom & beach/pool towels. Loved being on 1st floor with pool, gazebo for grilling & shuffle board right out the back door!!

Great location

Only had a few issues with inside. Mattresses are not great, guest bathroom sink doesn’t in well. I was able to communicate with property owner easily vis email. Overall great place to stay possibly a little over-priced compared to the inside quality.

Thank you for your feedback. We were unaware of any issue with the sink and could have had it fixed immediately. It’s a bummer you didn’t enjoy the new Nectar mattress, all of our guests rave about the comfort. But we are glad you had the opportunity to make memories with your family!

Cleanest property I’ve ever stayed in!! I was very pleased with everything! The amenities on property we great and location to the beach was perfect. Painting was being done at the property and I even received a call before hand to let me know that our patio would be closed. So nice to not be surprised by that. My only surprise was upon check in I had to pay a “resort fee” that I was not made aware of. I had no problem paying it, it just would’ve been nice to know ahead of time. Will stay again if available.

My girls didn’t want to leave Sunset Corner!

After an initial issue with the check-in process (I didn’t receive the email with instructions, but I called and it was sent promptly without issue), we had a wonderful time! My wife and two girls (6 and 11) absolutely loved the property! It was conveniently located next to the less busy pool, and then the ability to park right by the property and also ease for Door Dash deliveries made it very convenient. She does an excellent job with decor. The beach chairs are a well-used, but definitely save you $ from having to rent. There was quite a bit of noise during the day from construction at the neighboring property (nobody’s fault), but I’m not sure if this is a frequent issue (it seemed like there was always some sort of noisy project going on). My girls quickly considered it home, and I almost had to leave them for the next VRBO renter :)

Great location!

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay. The location was far enough away from traffic and shopping to enjoy peace a quite, but if you needed to drive to the store it was just under a mile drive. This is in an area where the neighborhood is very upscale and Holiday Isle is a gated resort. My kids enjoyed the pool within view of our patio. Pools were heated so very comfortable. The beach was a 3 min walk and we were thankful for the chairs provided for us to bring to the beach. Sleepy was amazing being so close to the ocean. All of the beds were extremely comfortable. If you stay here plan on washing the bath towels and beach towels in the coin laundry area. The resort won't switch out your dirty towels for clean ones. Lastly, I have to brag. We had other vacationers asking how we got our 1st floor corner location. These people said they have tried to reserve our location but couldn't ever get our location. I told them VRBO. Overall 5 stars and we would stay again!

This place was so great! Perfect for our family size. Location was great!

Communication with the owner was easy. Location was awesome! Couple things that i wish were different... the unit could absolutely use some hooks inside for like towels and such. Aslo for a week or more long stay for a family more than 2 garage bags would have been super helpful instead of having to use saved grocery bags which im glad i actually saved.
