Wonderful Lakefront fully furnished downstairs apartment. Large bedroom with walk-in closet, Large comfy family room with TV and fireplace. Large fully furnished kitchen. Lovely area underneath upper deck to hang and perhaps just enjoy the lake. Off-street parking and separate parking. Located just minutes from downtown Southern Pines and Pinehurst. Lovely bike riding and walking area and the lake is wonderful for swimming and boating.

Whispering Pines

My daughter & I had a peaceful stay with a gorgeous view of the lake! The owners were very accommodating. We would love to rent again if the apartment is available the next time we are in town

Great place to stay

It was our first time staying in a VRBO and it was a great experience! The host met us with we arrived and gave us a tour of the property. She was very nice and also nearby in case we needed anything. The lake was peaceful and we enjoyed exploring it in the canoe. The location was perfect because we were able to visit with my grandmother just down the road in a retirement community. We had a great time away and look forward to another visit to Whispeeing Pines soon!

Beautiful and peaceful location

The property is on a lake with beautiful windows and a great yard to see and relax! Our host, Cassie was attentive to every detail and need. She made us feel right at home. We stayed 10 days and walked around the lake, played golf, watched the US Womens Golf Open and loved the area! The kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bath were in perfect shape with loads of room for us! We will be going back! Thank you Cassie for a wonderful vacation place!

I loved staying at this property, the space was fresh, bright and inviting as well as perfectly suiting my needs for my trip! Catherine was a fabulous host and I hope to return for another vacation in the near future!

Serene, beautiful location

Cassie’s property is on a lake, and the Views are calming and relaxing. Her kitchen, bedroom, living room and bathroom are spotless and carefully appointed. She makes you feel home immediately. We played golf everyday, took walks, and ate in most days. She greeted us on arrival and made sure our every need was met! We were wishing 5 or 10 minutes from Pinehurst, southern pines and any restaurant or grocery store you could imagine! We loved the property, care, and attentiveness. We look forward to returning this spring and summer! Thank you Cassie!

Comfort in the Pines

Mary and I were very pleased with the facilities, lake views, and Wi-Fi access in the spacious comfortable lodging. Only suggestion for a 5 star rating, would be instruction sheets for the self grinding coffee maker, cable smart TV and check out policy .

Superb

Cassie is so accommodating and easy going. House set on wonderful lake in clean, safe neighborhood. Great walks, and close to nearby golf courses and grocery store. Would stay here again!

Quiet, clean and comfortable

This one bedroom apartment has a wonderful view of the lake it sits on from the bedroom, living room and kitchen. Cassie has been very accommodating during my two month stay. She even sent me a text when she saw my car was still in the driveway one morning, asking me if I was sick (I wasn't, just working at home that day).

Quiet location, spacious apartment, friendly host

The apartment is the lower walkout level of a house. This wasn't exactly clear to me in the listing. However, it was a full apartment, with a good sized living room, bedroom and kitchen. It was listed as sleeping 2, but was large enough for 4 for a short term stay with the pull out couch. Although you would need more dishes, if you were to do this. Quiet location, on the lake, close to Southern Pines and Pinehurst (10-15 min.). 30 min from Main Post Ft. Bragg. A solid 45 min to Fayetteville proper. The kitchen was well equipped, however you do need to buy or bring your own oil, spices, essential ingredients, etc. The host was pleasant and they are quiet upstairs neighbors. I would definitely recommend for a long term stay as it is very spacious, a serene place to come to after work, and well appointed. I would definitely stay again if in the area.
