Great weekend getaway

We had a great Labor Day weekend getaway! House was clean and comfortable with just about everything you need! Location was in a great, quiet neighborhood - beach so close and beautiful setting!

Lovely beach getaway!

Stayed here as two families and really enjoyed the cottage - especially the east walk to the very peaceful beach which was perfect for the little kids! The cottage is clean, conveniently located and the host is very communicative. The beach itself was very peaceful and we had a super fun time!

A quiet, seaside cottage

Ocean views in an upscale neighborhood within an easy walk to the beach. And near enough to great restaurants and shopping when you’re ready to get off the beach. Our host, Alison, was very sweet and such a pleasure!

Perfect girls weekend getaway

The cottage was perfect for our girls weekend. There are two decks in the front with views of the ocean and a serene view of the marshes in the back. We had a wonderful time and Alison was great!

Scenic Getaway

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay! First the waterview from the balcony was breathtaking and the walk to the private beach for swimming was the best! The house was beautiful and located on an amazing street! The owner was excellent with communication and having everything ready for our stay! We will definitely be back next year!

Charming , close to idyllic beach

Alison is an utterly delightful person and catered to my every request. The house is in lovely taste and close to a private little beach with sandbars. I had health issues which cut short my stay but I’d highly recommend this for adults and teens. !

Weekend in Clinton

We had a wonderful weekend at the Clinton cottage! The house was charming, orderly and immaculate. The cottage had all the amenities plus wonderful views from the top balcony. The owners were very responsive to our emails and texts- and they provided additional tips to enhance our stay in Clinton.

Nice house, room for improvement

The house itself had a nice obstructed view of the sound. The neighborhood is safe and friendly. The beds were very comfortable! Unfortunately there were several issues. There was not a working method to rinse off after a day at the beach. It had not been clear to me that there had been pets from the listing but very evident from the smell of the couches and area rugs. The house had not been thoroughly cleaned to rid of the pet hair or to clean some of the less obvious spots. I actually had to clean the washing machine of the buildup before washing my own clothes. The kitchen pots and pans are due to be replaced. I spent too much time on the phone the first few days trying to fix the issues, and it made me not want to express any of the other issues found as we went (Previous tenant had taken all of the backup paper supplies, there was no remote for the TV, the AC breaker had been turned off, fridge had not been cleaned out or cleaned). The host was very friendly but things just weren't how they should be for the money we spent.

Wonderful beach getaway.

We spent Labor Day weekend, just after Hurricane Ida went through. Although the property was unscathed - and charming! - the owner was very attentive to make sure all went well. The location was wonderful and house was wonderful for our family group of five.
