Welcome to this stunning cottage, a true gem built in 1935 and lovingly preserved by renowned preservationist Jane Coslick. In 1996, it was moved and saved from demolition, becoming one of her first remarkable rescues, and its timeless charm and beauty were even showcased on the cover of Coastal Living in 2000.

As you ascend the steps to the welcoming screened-in porch, you'll be greeted by quaint and colorful beach decor, setting the perfect tone for a delightful stay. The porch offers a variety of seating options and tables, inviting you to lounge, relax, and soak in the serene atmosphere.

Step inside this sophisticated cottage, all on one level, and be captivated by the warm wood floors, abundant natural light, and delightful splashes of local art throughout. The open sitting, dining, and kitchen area seamlessly blend together, creating a harmonious space for gatherings. A TV and a dining table accommodating up to 5 guests ensure entertainment and dining pleasure.

A small bedroom, tucked off the living room, features two twin beds, offering comfort and privacy with the convenience of a privacy curtain. The master bedroom boasts a queen bed and a full bath with a tub/shower ensuite, providing a serene retreat for relaxation. Additionally, there is a convenient hallway half bath for added comfort.

Outside, a small open back porch awaits sun enthusiasts, adorned with two hand-painted Adirondack chairs, offering a perfect spot to bask in the warm rays. The porch overlooks the shady fenced-in back yard, where you'll find an outdoor shower and a charming picnic table, creating an idyllic setting for enjoying outdoor moments.

Great location, and cute property. The place has everything you need, although we did not get the chance to cook there.The screen patio would be nice to enjoy, except it was too cold when we stayed, it would be a enjoyable experience when weather is nice.

Super close to the beach, restaurants, and bike rentals in a quiet, walkable area. Loved the screened in porch, beach chairs, and Roku options on the TV.

Cute Cozy Beach Stay

It was the perfect spot for our small group! It was simple and quaint and had all we really needed. The sunroom was by far our favorite spot, any time we were at the house we were out there. Also perfect location - close to the beach, and the shops/ restaurants

Fantastic stay!

We really, really loved our time here.There were four of us (two couples) and it was the perfect amount of space for us to relax, cook and eat together, while also having our private areas. The space is quaint and has everything we needed for a cozy stay. The weather during our visit was very rainy, so having the screened in porch and puzzles was a great backup option when we couldn’t get to the beach. We had one minor maintenance issue pop up and heard back promptly from the Tybee Cottage team (thank you!). Pros of this stay:- location: easy walk to beach, restaurants, and grocery store - quiet, safe, and friendly neighborhood - screened porch - the best!- beds were very comfortable - outdoor and indoor showers had excellent water pressure- great outdoor area to grill and hang- washer & dryer The only surprises to us were the curtain divider for the room with the twin beds (no door) and the bathroom in primary bedroom is the only on with a shower. The listing mentioned this, but we missed them so flagging for future guests. Neither caused any issues for us!

Fell in Love with TBI

It was our first time on Tybee Island and each one of us fell in love with it, for different reasons. My mother has come for 3 years, and now we know why she keeps coming back. The food is delicious, the beach is so clean, and the kids were never bored. Can't wait to come back.

The most charming beach cottage!

The Palm Cottage was the most adorable place to stay. It was the perfect getaway! A great place to stay and relax after a long day at the beach! A short walk to the beach and restaurants! Everything you need for a great beach vacation!

Reviewer Comments: overall, we really enjoyed our time at the cottage. the location was great and we loved being located right on the bike route and close to lots of beaches. my only negative comment would be on the overall cleanliness of the space. there were cleaning items that had been left out and it looked like the bed linens hadn’t been washed in a really long time. lots of built up dust in some places.

Adorable Vintage Coastal Cottage

Authentic, historic cottage with beautiful, colorful touches throughout. Loved it! So charming, cute and quaint. Made me feel like I had gone back in time. Lots of character and whimsey. So much better than a hotel! Makes you long for the 'good ole days'... wish it was mine!

It is light and airy with a lot of windows and a nice screened porch. Centrally located, it was within walking distance of the beach and the main drag on Tybee, and we found ourselves walking often. The management team was also courteous and professional. We would book this cottage again on our next trip to Tybee.

Love Coming to Tybee

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cottage is in the perfect location to the beach and south end businesses. Easy to walk. The screened porch at the cottage is it's outstanding feature. We love being out there. And the deck is a great alternative. We also appreciate there is a charcoal grill---although it's not in great condition. We bring our own grate. Hope they replace it with another charcoal grill. In general the cottage is clean and pleasant. We did have a rodent problem that included excrement in the cottage. Although we were told by a couple of folks that someone would come out and address it, they never did. Tybee cottages did give us a small refund because of this. We stay in this cottage every year and hope to again next year. However, we will have a discussion about the rodent issue before we make a payment. We'd highly recommend this place for 2 people. It is quaint and comfortable.

It’s extremely comfortable with a screened in porch and small side yard for sitting and grilling. Even has an outdoor shower which is a plus for me in the summer. It’s best suited to a couple as you can close the bedroom door. The second bedroom just has a privacy curtain and twin beds- suitable for children. The house was clean with an ample supply of towels. I highly recommend this property. Short walk to the beach and small IGA grocery store.

Peaceful and relaxing, but...

The screened-in porch is simply to-die-for.But: the kitchen really needs a step stool for shorter people. I had to rely on my travel companion to get dishes down for me.And the really big but: the bed she used off of the living room? Had mouse poop in the sheets!!! Disgusting. Thankfully since there’s a washer/dryer and detergent, she washed the sheets and put them back off. But that was almost a deal-breaker. Also, I left my (very expensive) pillow there. If I pay for shipping, would you be able to send it back to me?

Adorable Cottage for Two

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My childhood friend and I had a wonderful few days together in this well-furnished vintage cottage. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. There were lots of extra towels, and the kitchen had everything necessary and more. Close to the beach. The neighborhood was well maintained - perfect for walking and biking. Grocery store two blocks away. It was a comfortable drive to Savannah for great shopping and dining. We would recommend Palm Cottage.
