Brand new wood plank tile flooring currently being installed along with new furniture. South Bay by the Gulf is a beautiful resort ideally located right in the center of Destin. This spacious resort offers over 300 feet of beautiful, private beach. This 3 bedrooom/2.5 bath unit has everything you need to make a memorable vacation. The first floor is home to a fully stocked kitchen, living room / dining room area, a half bathroom and a spacious deck. The second floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The unit has a washer and dryer.
Walk out your back door and you are steps away from the pool and Tennis court. The pool is heated the week of Thanksgiving, week of Christmas, and February-March. Just a short walk and you are on the white sand beaches enjoying those beautiful emerald gulf waters! This unit is on beach side of 98. No streets to cross to the beach!
Complex amenities include a beautiful 5 acre freshwater fishing lake, 2 pools and 2 kiddie pools, tennis courts, shuffle board, beach volley ball, and BBQ pits. There are world class restaurants and great shopping within walking distance the the complex

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was supplied with everything we needed without having to purchase extra items along with our groceries, which saved us a good bit of money. It was pool side on the back porch and not too far from the beach.

About a 3 minute to the beach. Our unit was on the backside of the property so we had the furthest walk to the beach of all the units . Also Google Maps was the only travel app that could accurately get us to the correct address. There were old crunchy panties under one of the beds when we checked in and a good bit of hair in the bathrooms. Other than that. Not a bad location in Dest

The condo was clean and literally steps from the pool. We had no problems with people being too loud at night, though, even though we were right outside the pool. There was a small issue with the blinds that was repaired the same day we called the facility. I would stay here again!

The BnB was beautiful and located right in front of the pool. A couple down sides are the toilet in the primary bedroom had to be manually flushed and water put into the back to flush quickly. In the guest bedroom, the water would randomly get freezing during the shower, or the water would remain cold throughout the duration. The tub in the guest restroom would not drain unless you held the drain open while showering. When we first arrived, there were previous guests items in the home (a hat and some clothing items), as well as not cleaned linen and water bottles under our bed. I enjoyed our stay. The host was very communicative. The property was spacious and easy to get to.

Thanks for the review. We are available 24/7 and would have happily sent someone over to fix the toilet and the drain. All we needed was for you to let us know about the issue during your stay instead of after you had already departed. I apologize that our cleaners missed a water bottle that had fallen under the bed. They work extremely hard but we definitely should have caught that so I'm very sorry. Thanks so much for staying with us.

Would stay here again!

Perfect location and very comfortable! Wild dolphins came up to us while swimming short distance from beach. The pool is right outside and was never crowded.

Great place!

Girls trip with 4 adults and 3 teens. Great location within walking distance to the beach and a couple shops and restaurants . Kids enjoyed the pool. Great communication with owners, they answered my questions promptly.

Positives… The beach service was phenomenal! The location to the beach, food and shopping is fantastic. .The spoiler for us was lack of communication. There was a problem with the air-conditioning. When we arrived, The windows and doors of the condo or wide open there was maintenance there. Apparently the air-conditioning was having an issue. They were putting in some temporary air-conditioning in the upstairs. It was very hot. No one contacted us to inform us that there was an issue with the air-conditioning or that we were not able to get in to the condo at four after driving eight hours. We were only able to park in one of the parking spots due to the next door, renters being parked in one of our spots the entire time we were there.

Thank you for sharing this, and I'm really sorry for the frustration. I'm glad the beach service and location were a highlight. We have the portable AC upstairs to assist the regular AC during peak heat Summer months. We want our guests to be as comfortable as possible and that is why they are there.

We loved the pool location! And beach access!Property was clean. Not updated for a while and patio door handle broken. An old grill on patio. Coffee table has a small crack. Other than that we had an awesome time!
