Unique and unforgettable, a peaceful and private place... Sonidos del Mar means "Sounds of the Sea". A tropical luxury villa with an excellent location in Jaco Beach.
This amazing compound is filled with lush green gardens, and vibrant nature. A small river borders one side of the property and the beach is just a few steps away. 2 adjacent homes connected by a center courtyard, with a covered breezeway and sparkling waterfall pool. Built with artistic style using concrete and rare hardwoods, impressive high ceilings, large windows, and open terraces. The space is perfect for taking in the natural setting and sounds. Along with exotic plants and flowers, you may see a variety of wildlife such as hummingbirds, parrots, iguanas, and frogs who also enjoy this special paradise.

Perfect villa for indoor and outdoor relaxing. Multiple outdoor terraces, sun chairs, poolside designer picnic table with bar stools and lights. 4 bedrooms 4 bathrooms, 2 living rooms with couches and smart TVs. 2 fully equipped kitchens, new stainless appliances, filtered water, cold AC, Wifi, high quality linens and towels. The entire experience of this property is a delight to all of your senses, and many guests choose to return.
We work hard to make this place special. We ask you to help keep it safe and serene. Visitors must be approved by management. Family groups 10 people max. Bachelor groups 5 max. No parties. Secure parking for 2 vehicles (garage).

Awesome Place on the Beach

Laura hooked us up with some great taxi drivers - great recommendations for food etc. The staff there was great. The pool and property is awesome - tons of birds flying around, large iguanas are on the property we saw parrots and met some really nice people down there.

Fantastic Family Vacation

This property is incredible. It was everything we needed and more. Close to town and a few steps to the beach. The pictures do not capture the serenity and we were mesmerized by the sound of the waves. There were 8 of us and everyone was very happy with all the amenities. We highly recommend this little piece of paradise. Laura was so eager to make sure we had everything we needed and stopped by with fresh fruit from a local vendor. Thank you so much. We will definitely visit again.

The Best Trip

When you book this property, you get far more than a place to stay! This property is amazingly beautiful and Matthew, Lau, and Elvis are the most exceptional hosts! They go ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure you have everything you need, help with any plans or tours, give fantastic recommendations, and have become fast friends. Our girls trip would not have been the same without them and we can’t wait to visit again!!

A little bit of paradise

The property was absolutely beautiful! Two separate two bedroom homes beside a perfect sized pool. The gardens are incredible and beautifully maintained. Laura and Matthew were wonderful to work with and provided for a great vacation.

Perfect for Families and Friends

We stayed at Matt’s property in early April and it couldn’t have been a better stay! Our guests included our family (including a 5yr old, 4yr old and 6 month old), mother-in-law and friend couple with a 2.5yr old. Laura arranged to have two pack-n-plays for the babies. She did two separate grocery runs for us since we didn’t rent a car. She set up our boat excursion with Costa Cat and literally answered every question we had. The location of the property is so amazing! Close to a little market, steps from the beach and easy access to bars/restaurants! This is a perfect set up for families or friends. I can’t recommend this property enough. Our kids basically lived in the pool which was the perfect temp! Very private and secure location but at the same time in the midst of it all. Please do yourself a favor and stay here :) Thanks for the amazing stay Matt and Laura!!

Perfect Tropical Oasis!

We had a phenomenal time throughout our stay. The property is perfectly situated close to the beach and local restaurants and bars, but at the same time is very private and secure. The accommodations were welcoming and first-rate. Our group was very comfortable and enjoyed the type of safe and relaxing experience we were looking for. Also enjoyed the wonderful local dining options as well! I can't enough about the Property Manager, Matt and the rest of the staff, who were incredibly attentive, knowledgeable and very accommodating. We would definitely consider returning for another stay. Thank you so much!
