Private home with private yard. 3 Bed, 1.5 Bath home is situated in Jacksonville's Avondale neighborhood, conveniently located with a hip population and trendy bars & restaurants. Avondale is known for its vintage flavor & character-rich local merchants and residents.

For your security, we have an outdoor camera positioned above the laundry room entrance, pointed towards the street. This covers the driveway and carport area of the property.

I took entirely too long to write this review due to all the moving parts of the holidays, however - I cannot recommend this home, location, and host enough! He took the time to decorate for us because we were doing an early gift exchange with our grandbaby, left a fireplace on the tv, set up lights outside, and prepared the home for an absolute beautiful welcome!

Before even arriving I was most grateful to the host for granting us last minute changes to accommodate our visit. Communication was timely, clear and the changes were made without a snag. The home has all one could need for a comfortable stay and the location is quite convenient.

The kitchen was very well stocked. The place was easy to find. Overall very clean. The eating area was large enough for our group to eat leftovers from all the local restaurants. Great location with tons of food options. The games in the living room were a nice added touch. Recommend.

Very pleasant stay and lovely place. We had a wonderful trip to attend a dog show event and this was ample space in a cozy environment. Would absolutely stay at this place again.

Everything was clean, kitchen had paper towels (idk why I appreciate this so much when it happens lol), plenty of towels, throw blankets, TVs, easy parking, and host had the AC on for us before we got there so it wasn’t super hot inside. The host was accommodating to my service dog. The neighborhood was cute and there is food within walking distance. Highly recommend

Initially the rental seemed just like the booking. Which was great at first glance. Then after around 3 days we began to see roaches. Not just any roaches the small kinds that are very hard to get rid of. All over the kitchen and in the bathrooms. I reached out to the property manager about this and after being very responsive, he suddenly stopped responding. The the point where I had to reach out to Vrbo, they have even had trouble. What really caused me to leave the review was finding love roaches in the shower are as well as live in the dish washer and running under the kitchen cabinet as I turned kitchen lights on. One this problem is addressed I think the rental would be awesome, but until then please go at your own risk. Realizing that you may be bringing something back with you, that you didn’t expect to take. We killed a total of 6 small roaches, but there were multiple that were a slightly bigger size that escaped. It grossed me out so much that we left earlier than expected.

I rented this property for one night prior to a carnival cruise out of Jaxport. This property was perfect. Its a quite neighborhood, easy access and location was great. Host was quick to respond to any needs we had.We got a good nights rest before a short 20min drive to the port on boarding day.

Wonderful Neighborhood Comfortable House!

The place was very comfortable (loved the beds) and well decorated. It was also in a very nice neighborhood. One point off due to train and traffic noise while outside, but inside was very quiet and could only faintly hear the train. Donnie was great to work with and even mailed something to me that I had forgotten. Thanks Donnie! Would have no problem staying here again!

Great Property

We were in FL for our niece’s engagement party as well as a family reunion. This house was perfect for our needs. Great size bedrooms and just a cozy feel to the whole house. Donnie was quick to answer a question I had. I highly recommend this property!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was beautifully decorated, had everything we needed and the neighbors were friendly. Wish the dryer was working; however, we air dried our washcloths on Saturday morning and didn't wash any of our clothes since dryer had an issue. Thanks!

The house is spacious, plenty of room for our party of 3 adults. Location is great. I would probably stay here again with a few minor improvements: The bathroom needs a little attention-the light in the shower area was hanging out of the ceiling, the shower curtain liner was covered in soap scum, and the baseboards were pretty dirty. Overall it was a comfortable stay, very easy to get to, and in a cute neighborhood.

Private home with covered carport in Jacksonville's Avondale neighborhood. Situated in an upscale neighborhood and only 3 miles from downtown. Conveniently located with a hip population and trendy bars & restaurants less than 0.3 miles away (walking distance).

Three Bedrooms (1 king, & 2 queen), each with nightstand, lamps, mirror, a bedroom chair, smart TVs connected to high speed internet, electrical outlets containing USB & USB-C ports, ceiling fan, ample closet space with clothes hangers. Windows with blinds and blackout curtains.

Bathrooms: 1.5 bathrooms - Situated between the Primary bedroom and the hallway. (Jack and Jill style)

Full size Tub/Shower combo situated between the 1/2 baths.

Living Room: Spacious living room with full size leather sofa and 2 large wingback chairs.

Outside: nicely manicured lawn, Small front porch, Back patios with chairs, Small charcoal grill, and fire pit and outdoor lights.

Neighborhood: Clean streets, beautiful neighborhood, well cared for sidewalks & friendly neighbors.

AT&T Fiber Internet. CNet says "Other connection types just don't compare to the performance of fiber internet."

The home is furnished with ample cookware and dishware. A starter supply of paper goods and toiletries is provided.

When you rent this home, you’re renting from individuals and not a 3rd party management company. This is the only home we rent. We answer all messages personally and designed the home to be a cozy and comfortable place to stay. We want it to be a place we would enjoy coming to (and we often do).

The home is within walking distance (or short drive) to dining & nightlife including live music.

Excellent pizza restaurant (Moon River Pizza) just around the corner. or pizza delivery from 5 Star pizza (rated 4 stars on Yelp) just 2 blocks from our place.
