Spend your day at the beach, out hiking or golfing then back to the condo for a beautiful sunset and BBQ ! Spacious, airy 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath condo with fantastic ocean and mountain views. A short walk down the greenbelt path to both Brennecke's and Poipu beaches and a 15 minute walk back up through the greenbelt to Grand Hyatt/Shipwreck beach area. Beach not your style? Then head for the pool (unobstructed ocean view) or the tennis center. Something for everyone. Most local restaurants and shopping are within walking distance and/or a short drive away (1.5 mi). One of the best locations in all of Poipu with a scenic pool area overlooking the beach.

We had a very nice stay here. Beds were comfortable living area and kitchen were very nice. Excellent location. Walking distance to beach restaurants and park. Would definitely stay here again. Very good communication with owners. The views are fantastic. The pool area and grounds are very clean and well taken care of.

The condo had everything we could have possibly needed! It is so spacious and great lanai views. The location is excellent and the exterior property, pool, etc. is stunning. The decor is dated but that wasn't a big deal to me; photos were as expected. Stained carpet needing replaced. Largest complaint is that the A/C is blocked not to go below 75. It was quite warm inside during the day even with all windows open.

The condo is in a perfect location. Close to beach, restaurants walking paths, etc. and is in such a gorgeous complex. We thoroughly enjoyed the 2 different pools and the complex was very clean and peaceful. The only thing I would suggest is more hooks for hanging wet bathing suits and towels. I very much respect and am glad nothing is allowed outside on the porch and lanai however there were 5 adults and a baby with towels and multiple bathing suits. We made due however, maybe some hooks in the showers to hang wet items? IDK just a suggestion. The property is truly beautiful and the views are amazing. Very grateful for our stay there.

We absolutely loved the location; 5 minute walk to the beach! The whole area is very walkable and not crowded at all! We hope to stay here again

Fabulous place.

The property has access to three great beaches, two pools and many wonderful hikes around the area. The owners are good communicators and have that Aloha spirit. The condo itself is both luxurious and spacious.

This property is the close to Poipu beach. You can walk to see the turtles in the morning and at night. Had all the beach necessities.

Amazing location and property!

The condo is in an amazing location and has wonderful views of the ocean. We enjoyed the short walk to Poipu Beach and all of the amenities in the community. John was a great host and very responsive, and provided very helpful information about the location and suggested activities before our stay. John was the kindest host I've ever rented a vacation home from. The home is just like the photos, and the sunsets are indeed beautiful. The ocean is visible from the lanai, and the stars are very visible on a clear evening/early morning since Kauai has virtually no street lamps, and I hope it stays that way! Our suburban children were impressed. The location is a short walk to Poipu beach, and it's easy to drive both east and west to visit some other beaches (especially in the winter). The north side takes about an hour to get to, which was not too bad, since we spent most of the time on the south. Costco and Walmart are just under 30 mins away. Everything is convenient. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed to be able to cook breakfast or other meals. Three new a/c units were just installed, and they kept us very comfortable. The swimming pools and hot tub are great, and parking is very easy. It was a perfect stay for our family of five for almost two weeks. You won't be disappointed if you stay at John & Aana's place!

Beautiful rental on Kauai!

This property has it all… gorgeous views, comfortable lodging with all housing amenities, and the complex is just so beautiful and well maintained! We had a great time, and John was so responsive to our emails. No complaints, I’m so happy that we found this place!!

Beautiful 2 level condo with view of the ocean and short walk to the beach. Equipped with beach chairs, beach umbrella, wagon and snorkeling gear. Master bedroom has nice covered patio area and en suite bathroom.

this property is amazing! The owner John is extremely responsive and the unit is fully stocked with everything you need including beach, toys, etc. you can walk down to Poipu Beach in about six minutes and the beach to boogie board at in about four minutes.

This was our first time on Kauai and this unit is in a great location! The deck views of the ocean and the sunset were beautiful. The unit was larger and roomier than I thought, and the kitchen was well stocked. The beach toys/gear were plentiful and of good quality. Some of the rooms were hard to cool down with the stand-alone A/C units, but this is typical of the islands in general. Most places do not have central air conditioning. If you want this, you'll probably want a hotel. Overall, my family enjoyed staying in this property.

The good news is that our HOA recently approved split-system A/C units and we will be installing one in our unit this Fall. Perhaps you can visit again one day and enjoy the cooler environment (along with the views) ! JF

This was our fourth time staying in this general area in the last six years. We obviously love the area with its easy access to beautiful Poi Pu beach. We traveled with our son, daughter in law, and two grandsons ages 5 and 7. They stayed on the lower floor and my wife and I used the hide a bed on the upper floor. We made several meals in the kitchen although the upper floor was a bit warm. The bedrooms, bath, and showers on the first floor accommodated all of us. The short walk to the two pools was a perfect way for the boys who are not swimmers to enjoy water (minus sand).

Clean & great location!

Check-in was easy, the instructions from the owners were spot on. The location was great! We had access to the pool (which hardly anybody was there) so it was nice not having tons of people around. The beach is within walking distance…. And the “beach supplies” that were in the closet were fantastic! From a parents perspective, that was the best thing, by far! Brennecke’s & Kalapaki Joe’s were mere steps away, it was great. The owners were wonderful about communicating with us for help. Over all, I would definitely recommend staying there. Can’t wait to come back!

Great mont in Poilu

We had a great stay at this great location. We are a family of six with kids of all ranges and it was good for all. We enjoyed daily dips in the two pools and daily walks to the beach. There are walking paths every which way with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The home was great with all the things we needed. AC in the rooms that got the warmest with fans that keep you cool at night. Cooking in the kitchen was easy as they had all the supplies needed. The linens and towels were comfortable. The beach closet was full of stuff to take to Poupi. Parking was easily accessible and close to unit. This is a great place to stay for all reasons!

Beautiful location

This is a great location with fantastic proximity to the beaches of Poipu. It is a two story condo with bedrooms downstairs and kitchen/living room upstairs. Unfortunately the upstairs is not air conditioned which was a deal breaker for my family. The place was honestly great just too warm. John and Anna were amazing hosts though and were willing to refund us for the nights we didn’t stay for leaving early. Super accommodating and we appreciated it!! Would definitely recommend if you’re not sensitive to the heat. And I should mention they provided many fans as well!

Thanks Stephanie. We were fine accommodating her group (older parents and sensitive guests). However, all should realize that it is Hawai’i and weather/conditions are generally going to be warm - that’s the reason most of us visit in the first place! If you’re looking for fully air conditioned accommodations, we’d suggest one of the high priced hotels or booking in some other locale. Don’t mean to be snarky, but if you plan to vacation in the tropics, expect to be in the tropics...

Great location

This is a great condo in a perfect location. Just a short walk to the beach, pool and Brenneckes. The place is clean and the layout worked perfect for us. Just a word of caution, the owner emailed me while I was there and told me if we ran the AC too often he would charge us an additional fee. We specifically looked for condos with AC because my previous bout with cancer has left me sensitive to heat. Nothing was mentioned about this beforehand. It did get pretty warm in the late afternoon. Overall I would recommend this place and the owner was easy to work with. I will definitely rent this again!

PLEASE NOTE - the overall rating for this guest should have been 4 or 5 stars (not 3). This renter was easy to work with and accommodating with the A/C issue. Needless to say, it's warm in Hawaii which is one of the reasons people visit the islands. At the same time, energy is terribly expensive on Kaua'i so keeping those costs under control helps keep rents reasonable. Based on the comments from this renter, we'll highlight this issue going forward.

We first visited Kaua'i in 1996, were engaged there and have since had many memorable trips with family and our two boys (now young adults). When the boys were younger, some of our favorite moments revolved around the Poipu Beach area; snorkeling, swimming or just relaxing in the early evening watching the sunsets. Several years ago we started looking into property ownership and fell in love with the Manualoha complex due to it's location, great views and well manicured grounds. We're excited about owning here and invite you to come share in the wonderful Poipu experience!
