Enjoy a drink or have an entire meal with seating for 8 under the spacious tiki hut. Swim in one of the largest and deepest HEATED OR COOLED in-ground salt water pools in the area or stretch out on the sandy beach right by the waters edge! Sit out on the dock and see your own personal sunset every night! Take your boat out! Catch fresh fish for dinner!Take the kayaks out and cruise the bay! Walking distance to world renowned Baby's Coffee or to the local market and the local restaurant with fresh fish caught daily! Tennis courts and a playground within walking distance. All new furniture and appliances. 2 50"+ Smart tvs. 2 King Bedrooms, 1 room with 2 twins, 1 queen pullout. Perfect sunsets every evening
It really was wonderful stay. The pool is big and location is perfect. We brought a JetSki and our kayak and put them in right next to the dock and explored all over the sound. The beds were all super comfortable and soft. The kids really enjoyed fishing at the dock and even caught som legal snappers. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. The location is so close to everything we wanted to do. Close enough to key west to be fun but far enough away for it to be quiet.
I wish I could stay.

Beautiful setting
The outdoor area is beautiful and relaxing. Just what you want visiting Key West. Location is a short drive to dinning, shopping and sightseeing.
The property could use a little tender loving care.
Refrigerator is one of the biggest problems, door can’t open up all the way due to its location in kitchen. Would be ok for short visit but for a month vacation it gets a little frustrating.

Fix the problems and it could be five star
I seriously considered giving 3 stars because of issues we had. However, toward the end of our stay the owner hired a property manager who began to address some of the problems.
We stayed 2 months. There was no pool cleaning service the first 5 weeks. The pool became full of algae. Once a new pool service came on board they shocked the pool with algae killer two different times, and we had to stay out of it for 2 days each time. The mechanical gate opener is broken, you have to pull it by hand. It's heavy and can be difficult for someone older. When the pool was clean, being outside in the pool area was lovely, both for pool time and the sunsets which were amazing.
The beds are comfortable. Water damage did start to appear on the ceiling of the master bedroom. For anyone who likes to cook, the kitchen is very poorly equipped. Photos of the living room furniture were inaccurate. Not enough living-room seating for the number of people the house holds. In spite of all the above, we did enjoy our stay. The house is 30 minutes from downtown Key West where there is tons to do and lots of great restaurants. The sunsets were wonderful. The owner is very responsive when you reach out to her and does try to get problems fixed. With the new property manager trying to address some of the issues, and some TLC this could be a 5 star property.
