Casa Cortina: Eclectic Highlands Retreat w/ Covered Deck | 4 Min to Main Street
This artistically designed three-bedroom, three bath, tri-level open floor plan mountain home is three minutes from Main St. There is a beautiful master suite (King) and guest bedroom (Queen) with full bath on the main level, along with an open vaulted living room with fireplace, kitchen and dining. Also on the main level is a large deck, a full pantry stocked with pots and pans and small appliances alongside a mud room with its own outside entrance.
The lower level features a large three-bed (1 Queen, 2 Twins) family suite with separate living room, second fireplace, laundry room and lower deck. The upper level, accessed by mountain laurel decorated stairs, houses a quaint loft area with seating, and a charming writing desk which gives an ambience for authors and budding writers. Two central heat pumps comfortably cool or warm the 3,000 Square feet of living area.Â
5 years of cheerful, complimentary guests have enjoyed the many amenities which include several new TVs, sound system in the living/dining/kitchen area, New Orleans and Highlands masterpieces adorning the walls, and much more to welcome new and returning Highlands visitors.Â

[All of the homes managed by Highlands Vacation Rentals have wifi internet access(speeds may vary based on different providers), basic kitchenware & dishes, linens provided, and a starter set of amenities including: 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom + A set of personal shampoo, conditioner, hand & body soap (also per bathroom), 2 paper towel rolls, a few kitchen trash bags, a kitchen sponge, some dish soap and a couple of dishwasher and laundry detergent pods. ]
CANCELLATION POLICY: Our cancellation policy (effective for bookings confirmed after April 1, 2024) is outlined below:
For reservations that are 21 days or less, A reservation cancelled ( by email receipt ) between 0 - 45 days prior to arrival is not eligible for a refund. If reservation is cancelled more than 45 days prior to arrival, guest shall receive a refund of all payments made* less a cancellation fee of 10% of the total cost of the reservation AND the cost of any trip insurance if purchased.
*Refunds do not include third-party service fees as those are determined by the booking site and we do not control how those funds are processed.
For any reservations that are more than 21 days, No refund will be given unless the property is re-rented over the previously booked dates.
You may purchase Travel insurance to cover your trip for cancellations. Contact Highlands Vacation Rentals for details.
