Enjoy your vacations in our exclusive Condo at Bay View Grand Marina Ixtapa. (BVG Mariana) This beachfront Condo has amazing views of Ixtapa Beach and Pacific Ocean.
BVG Marina has infinity pool; "adults only pool"; two hot tubs; tennis court; and restaurant. The Condo is located on the 10th floor; Full kitchen with dishwasher, stove, oven, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator and kitchen utensils; one private bedroom with balcony access; Living room with sofa bed; TV with cable and two full bathrooms.
BVG Marina is located at very quiet Playa Palmar right next to the Marina and across the street from Marina Ixtapa Golf Club.

The property owner was very very responsive! Upon our arrival at 3:10pm, we had issues with getting in the unit. The property manager couldn’t get the door pad to unlock the door( turns out the battery to the lock was dead), we were asked to wait at the restaurant until she was able to get her boss to come help “could be an hour or so” . The door issue was solved 30 minutes later and we were able to get into the unit. The view from the unit was awesome from the living room and bedroom. The unit was organized and clean. As we settled into the unit we found that the shower (outside the bedroom ) had an issue with a shower head
 it was totally off, left in the stall and full of calcium leaving the shower functioning with one large stream of water. We had only one wash cloth for the week. The primary bathroom had a bathroom tile loose along the bottom of the doorway. The bathroom door was swollen from the humidity and couldn’t be opened or closed without rubbing the bottom of the door on the floor causing a very loud noise when opening and closing.The furniture in the unit was functional but very “tired” the couch was stained as were the chairs. The furniture was uncomfortable. The bar stools were wobbly and in need of attention. The patio was lovely to sit on in the mornings with coffee and evening to watch the sunset. The view of the ocean was beautiful.The pools were great and breakfast at the restaurant was a nice way to start the day.

Overall a great stay. Lovely property, beach, pool, etc. condo was spacious. Nice kitchen that is usable. You can taxi to the grocery store if no car. Couple close by really good restaurants with reasonable prices. Amazing sunsets here with a lovely balcony to watch them from.

Great Condo

We have stayed at BVGM 9 times since 2016 and this layout is the best in our opinion for a one bed and 2 bath option. Cristina was great host, no problems at all. Highly recommend.

What a view!

Lovely condo in a very quiet wing of the resort! The owner, Cristina, is so helpful and accommodating! She ensured that Rafael was present to meet us upon our arrival and departure. Check-in was seamless and Rafael attended to every condo related query that we had. He even taught us some Spanish! The condo is spacious, the view is phenomenal, the balcony is accessible through the living room and the bedroom and we had all the amenities needed for a 24 day stay. And yes, there is a safe! The resort restaurant is wonderful, well-staffed and the food is great! The beach and pools are lovely! You will not regret staying here! J & J

absolutely gorgeous condo. 10 th Floor views.

Amazing Condo at Bvg Marina. 10th floor all glass windows. It feels like a two bedroom two bathroom. It’s completely furnished, very comfortable king bed ,very clean. I’ve rented BVG in Ixtapa for years and this was one of my favorites. We will most definitely rent again if available! Christina was easy to work with, and had somebody there to meet us when we arrived. Thank you again!

Great Vacation!

Our week vacation in BVG Marina unit 1001N was great! Unit was clean, efficient and comfortable. The view from the balcony is amazing. Dealing with the host was a pleasure and made our vacation that much better. I’ll be coming back for sure!

Nice place, great views, a couple of hiccups.

The place looks exactly like the photos. Great view from the balcony. The bed is very comfortable and there is plenty of water pressure in the shower. On arrival, we had issues, as the guards at the gate did not know the contact person that was provided to us by the owner. Eventually, one of the property manager reps arrived and got us into the building, where we signed in and paid for 'visitor' wristbands to access the property amenities. We also had an issue with the Wifi for the first three days, as nobody knew the password. Eventually, they did a factory reset on the router and we could access it using the default password. The air conditioner is turned on/off by a key, which you are forced to take with you when you leave the apartment. Even with the blinds down, the apartment gets very hot over the course of the day without the AC running. The AC key is tethered to the door key with a small padlock, and this is very inconvenient (and bulky) if you are leaving the apartment wearing only a bathing suit to walk on the beach while carrying two keys on a padlock. For the rental price, one would not expect to have to do this. This property could benefit from a 'welcome' binder that has info regarding wifi passwords, property amenities and how to access them and even small things like where to get water bottles for the dispenser, location of the trash chute, what to do with glass/cardboard garbage and maybe even some recommendations for local shopping/dining. There is a restaurant/bar at the pool - you have to purchase a card that you load up with money to buy food and drink with. They charge an automatic 10% gratuity on the bill. Overall, after the bumpy first few days, everything else was great. We enjoyed our time in Ixtapa and would rent this apartment again in the future.
