Sandy Pointe is a small condominium complex located on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Just a short four-minute walk to the beach and close to local restaurants and entertainment, this 600 square foot condo is great for a beach stay. Visit The Gulfarium, The Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier, or The Boardwalk located just down the road. Dine at local seafood and specialty restaurants or take the short drive to Destin for shopping and entertainment.

Nice place to stay

There was work going on in other units when we arrived so we were a little nervous, but this unit was perfect for our long weekend stay. It had everything we needed and was a very short walk to the beach access. We would stay here again.

Great stay and close to the beach

The property was close to many of the attractions that we were interested in seeing. Very close to the beach. They even had two beach chairs and an umbrella. I would stay here again.

Summer Vaca

My husband and I had the best time on our short summer vacation. This place was literally across the street from the beach (walking distance) and also right down from a few really good restaurants (walking distance). The place was clean and very convenient for what we needed and wanted to do on our trip! We will be back!

Not a bad stay

The condo is in a good location and easy to access. Other than being a little outdated and hearing the people above us, we enjoyed our stay. We did not spend a lot of time in the condo other than to sleep and shower so it suited its purpose.

Dead roaches on the floor. Toilet ran for hours after flushing. The large eye on the stove didn’t work. Hands down the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on. We had to go buy an air mattress. Microwave was so gross, we couldn’t use it. This place is hilariously bad. BUT the 4 min walk to public beach access we very nice

This review is false. All other reviews reflect something different. We even reached out to the guest to see if we could rectify any issues, they simply said no, and would blast on all platforms?? We sent maintenance over after check out. The stove worked fine. Nothing wrong with the microwave and we fixed the toilet running. I personally laid on the bed, and no issues. Roaches? There were no roaches.

Excellent location

The good: perfect location close to beach, restaurants, and souvenir shops. Nice clean unit with private bedroom and covered carport. The bad: the range (oven/stove) did not work. In order to watch anything on bedroom tv had to use my personal hotspot on my phone. In summary i would rent again i just would check the oven before I bought frozen pizzas.

Enjoyable Stay at Sandy Point

We enjoyed our stay at Sandy Point and Fort Walton Beach. Though the condo is not directly on the beach, it was a short walk to public beach access. The neighborhood was great as well. We enjoyed a quick walk to AJ’s for adult beverages, there is also a small ice cream stand a short walk away! The condo was clean and the perfect size for a couple’s trip. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils needed for a dinner in, though we did have to purchase other basics such as salt and pepper. The only minor complaint we had was it would’ve been nice to have extra supplies such as toilet paper and paper towels. I would highly recommend a stay at Sandy Point and would absolutely consider another stay!

Listing is accurate

I was actually worried about staying here because the pictures look like they could be deceiving. The couch is a pull out bed. There is a nice coffee pot and cooking utensils. The bedroom is a nice size. The only thing I would complain about if I HAD to have a negative would be that there are no curtains on the window. Just blinds, which keep people from seeing inside but the sun was super bright by 6:30am. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay. We would stay again.

Perfect for Couples

This spot is perfect for a week/weekend get away for couples. All the restaurants/bars are very close as well as the beach. You could do a short drive or walk honestly. Walls and Floors are somewhat thin just FYI. You can hear foot steps above you if you get a bottom floor. THEY DID FIX THE BED PROBLEM! I was worried from other comments but the bed is very comfortable. Had everything we needed plus more. Very pleased with our stay.

Convenient Location

Small issue checking in because the address provided was wrong. The VRBO app was also not showing all my correspondence with the door code or room number, not the owners fault. Location is convenient to Crab Island, food, shopping, beach. Unit had everything we needed and was clean. My main complaint is all the noise from the upstairs unit, multiple renters in and out and still noisy. I suppose the floors in between are not insulated properly as we didn't sleep much at all. The bed was also very uncomfortable, which showed in prior review but I guess I was hopeful they had fixed the issue 9 months after that other persons review. The washer/dryer are coin operated, which might have been listed and I overlooked that there would be a charge. But, you can download an app and pay through the app since there wasn't a change machine to swap out my dollar bills.
