Ocean View Studio#204-Newly Renovated!

Coastal Waters is a classic 1950s Florida vintage hotel. Coastal Waters consists of 3 buildings with three floors.

It was recently converted to condos in January of 2021. The property has been modernized and updated with super-fast WIFI, a new heated pool, extended gas line to the grill area so no more propane tanks and digital wifi enabled door locks to provide easy access and simple contactless check in!

After a day at the beach, take advantage of the newly renovated bathroom which feature marble showers with both rain and wand showerheads.

After the sun goes down, enjoy lounging on the balcony listening to the ocean and taking in the salt air, or relax inside the unit which features a Smart TV and two full size beds.

At any point in time through out your stay please feel free to reach out for whatever it is you may need! Special event your traveling for, wedding, birthday, anniversary, ect. Let us know! If you need some fresh towels, linen change, or just a can opener, we are available for whatever it is you need.

Located just miles away from Flagler Ave, New Smyrna Beach. It is the perfect distance for you to enjoy the local life, but far enough to get away from it and have peace and relax when you want. Many local restaurants give you plenty of variety to choose from when selecting your breakfast, luck or dinner!

great location

Loved the location, some minor issues (door bottom latch not catching, floors not cleaned enough, only two beach towels for 4 people). All in all loved our stay, been to this location many times.

Met our needs

We stayed for two days to attend a friend's wedding. The location was a short drive to several shops and restaurants. The beach view was beautiful with easy access to the beach. The unit owner was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive to our questions. Overall, this was a very good eperience.

Could hear conversations and TV from next room. No plates for heating food in microwave. Coffee pot needed washing. Microwave needed to be cleaned. The expectation is for guests to wash dishes. There is no soap. Shower walls were dirty.

The location is great. The unit itself was not clean. Floor sticky, mildew in the shower. Someone else’s clothes left behind in the bureau. But the worst part was- there is absolutely NO comforts. A coffee maker but no coffee and not even a cup. I tiny square of soap, nothing else. Towels were dingy- had to go buy some. No beach chair, no beach towel- I mean “ bare necessities “. I would not stay again.

The Beach is lovely as is the pool.

The appearance of the new updates in my unit did not make up for the poor housekeeping. The floor was dirty in front of the door , the woodwork was dirty around the doors, and the shower was full of mold. There was not one single utensil or cup or plate or a glass in the place. I had to go over to the 7-Eleven and buy a paper cup to get a drink out of. And besides that the two chairs on the porch were broken and I was almost afraid to sit on them for fear they would break. The pool area was meticulous and I guess I expected the rest to be the same. Very disappointing.

Disappointed.

The pool was awesome. The room was nothing more than a hotel room with small refrigerator and a microwave. There was a coffee pot but no coffee or filters. Other than a bar of Dove soap nothing was provided. We had to call for towels for the pool/beach which came at end of day. The balcony had one chair and there were two of us staying there. No chair in the room. The room adjoins with another room and at 1:42 AM our neighbors woke us out of a sound sleep and they were only talking!!! Floors were not swept/dirty. Room is on 2nd floor and there are no elevators. Will not be staying there again.

Great beach and location

We enjoyed the heated pool and the pool area. On cooler windy days the pool area is protected from any cold wind and the heated pool was awesome. The view from our room overlooked the pool area and the ocean. There are miles of very walkable beach and just a mile up the beach is the Pier and local shops.

Easy communication with the host

We had arrived early and wasn't allowed to check in until 3.We had contacted the host and he had immediately answered and was able to check us in sooner.The pool isn't heated though it was clean as well as the room and the lobby area!There was a storm when we were there and the generator kicked in immediately. For it being a older hotel it was clean and the property manager was very nice!

Make the Best Better

We very much enjoyed our first stay in New Smyrna Beach. We will probably come back but look for other possibilities for places to stay. Fortunately, the maintenance guy on the grounds was willing to help us with some basic problems that we learned other guests were also having with getting their room door to lock, getting the TV to a place to watch plain old network TV shows and sometimes a bit of problem with noise. The noise may have an extra problem during our visit because of the motorcycles in town that tend to have louder exhausts and can easily wake someone up when they are sleeping in the front rooms of your property. We did enjoy the stay but you can definitely improve it with a better working door lock system, giving your guests some kleenex tissue and providing a guide for how to get to TV stations. Gary Heusel

No frills get away

My daughter and I stayed for 4 nights. The room was extremely clean. It’s basically a hotel room. The property is on the beach. Beach towels were included which I thought was cool. The pool area was clean. The room has been remodeled nicely. You’ll need to bring your own toiletries and coffee. There’s a mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave but no kitchen area. I would definitely stay here again.

Good value

This condo is actually a converted hotel room. Updates were nice, except the floor could use repair. Beds were comfortable. Pool looked nice, but we were unable to use it because of rainy and cold weather. Great location on the beach in New Smyrna Beach.

Nice place to stay

The bathroom was beautifully remodeled and the beds were clean and comfortable. Only problem we had was the living area floor needs repair The owner was very nice and supplied us with beach towels and new beach chairs.
