At True North Cabin Rentals we have 5 cabin’s together with nice lake views from the 1 acre resort property. Cabin #3 is an open loft, two bedroom, one bath cabin for rent at beautiful Higgins Lake that sleep 10. Included you will find a 1 queen bed in each bedroom, 2 full & 1 twin beds in the loft, couch, tv/dvds, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans linens, towels and everything else you will need for your fun filled summer vacation, along with a fire pit, BBQ grill, hammock and horse shoes. A nice shallow sandy beach and Public dock just steps from the cabin. The Silver Dollar Bar just one block up the street and party store less than a mile away. Cabin is located at 129 Thorpe Ave. Higgins Lake MI. Pontoons, Fishing & Ski Boats, Jet Skis, Paddleboards, Kayaks, ATVs, Scooters, and UTVs available for rent at a discounted price for all renters through GO FAST Rentals that is also one block away.
PETS OK! (Pet fee is $45 per pet) Campfire wood available for purchase on property.

Perfect little cabin for our family. Peaceful quiet neighborhood. Just a short walk to a nice dock to access the water. Gas station a quick drive away, Silver Dollar Bar and Grill a short walk. Everything we needed for our end of summer vacation before diving back into the hustle and bustle of school.

When I rented this place, I thought it was right on the water because the pictures showed a beach with fire pit and the water behind it. When we got there we found the water was a block away and there was no beach.The cabin itself was nice and had a full kitchen.

To clarify, while the property offers beautiful lake views, the beach and public dock are located just a short walk—about a block—from the cabin, as mentioned in our property description. We do not advertise the cabin as directly on the water, and there are no photos that show a beach directly behind a fire pit. The fire pit shown is on the resort property, and the lake can be seen in the distance. We always strive to provide clear and accurate descriptions and are happy to answer any questions in advance of booking. We hope you still had a relaxing stay and enjoyed everything the area has to offer. We’d love the opportunity to host you again!

We only stayed 2 nights. Next time will be longer! Close to parks, great place to walk my dog. Quiet neighborhood. Only suggestion is a few towel hooks in bathroom and an overhead fan in bathroom.

We’ve stayed in Jeremy’s cabins several times now, cabin 3 is our favorite. Enough room to have other people in our group over to hangout and have dinner. Plenty of room for our dog to roam around in the common area, plus it’s a short walk to the lake. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

Spotless and Fully Updated.

Space is very well thought out. Very gracious host,. Very nice fire pit with plenty of chairs and a picnic table Beautiful covered porch with a view of the lake. Between the 5 cabins located right next to each other with a giant outside common are it is perfect for multiple family’s. We can’t wait to come back next year.

Awesome updated house!

Cabin 3 is beautifully updated! We loved having family members stay there while the rest of us were in the Main Cabin! Already booked both for next year! Jeremy is a great host. Renting a pontoon from Go Rental completes the ideal vacation spot for us!

Amazing cabin with the best hosts!

Roscommon MI is beautiful, clear lakes and fresh air. Pair that scenery with a perfect cabin to stay in and you’ve got a great little vacation! We had 2 kids with us and our dog! There is plenty of room and cabin is very clean. They have dvds and games for a rainy day, and a hammock and variety of bikes to use during the stay! Lake is shallow for a long ways, so it’s a great sand bar and Swimming for littles! I am grateful for these hosts because I left my makeup bag and they mailed it to me with no issues!! THANKS AGAIN!!

Beautiful Location and Place

We had a large group of friends in multiple houses for a long weekend. This house was perfect for what we needed, we didn't entertain just sleep and shower and hang out for a little but between activities. I would say chances are great that we return for a yearly trip visiting some residents that live in the area. The lake and surrounding areas are fun and the cleaner then anyone could imagine. Amazing spot to visit in Michigan!

Perfect place to stay near Higgins Lake

Ths place is a gem! We had a wonderful stay. We stayed in Cabin 3. The kids loved the loft area for sleeping. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. Everything in the kitchen was in good shape - which is rare for a rental. The cabin was clean and recently renovated. We had plenty of towels. There was also a nice assortment of DVD, games and books for rainy days. You can tell the owner is around and taking care of things. Each cabin has it's own firepit and hammock. We really appreciated some of the shared use items including some bikes and kayaks. The cabins are in a nice quiet neighborhood. I loved sitting on the porch in the morning and drinking coffee. There is water access a couple houses down. There is a small beachy area that is maybe a 5 minute walk. Both North and South Higgins State Parks are also just a short drive. The owner Jeremy was very helpful when I had any questions. I would definitely recommend any of the cabins at this location. We would rent again when returning to Higgins Lake.

Fun Times Close to Lake

My family and I came here to celebrate my mothers 60th birthday and it was a wonderful time the owners were extremely responsive gave us great ideas and things that we could do and made sure we had a wonderful time cannot wait to come back again!

Quaint & close to lake

Had a great stay at Jeremy’s cabin. Came up for a family reunion so had family in the other cabin next door which was nice. Had all the basics for a nice weekend stay. Lake only a few houses down & walking distance to the silver dollar restaurant.

Property was very cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing I would suggest is be sure screens are on all windows especially the bathroom window so they can be opened for air flow.
