You will love your stay here, everyone does!

This guest house is very clean, spacious and is very secluded with great scenery and a large hot tub exclusive to the guesthouse and large pool which only shared with the property owner. There are many great wineries and restaurants nearby.
Guest have always rated the property 5 stars.

Note: For your security and mine there are Ring cameras mounted on the outside of the main house. These cameras are activated by motion. When activated a light comes on at night so the camera can record the activity.

Nice stay. Hot tub. Could use a few upgrades. No oven. Bring charcoal, coffee, soap and shampoo. Really like the property but you’re on your own so bring stuff.

Very easy check-in. We even arrived about 30 minutes early and the owner had just finished cleaning and we just went right in. The property is beautiful and very secluded. Pool and hot tub are great for a mini getaway.

This was an amazing getaway. The pool and jacuzzi are fabulous. The place is very bright and inviting. Everything was very clean and organized. The drive up to the house is very pretty, its a long driveway. The house is secluded, which was very peaceful. I will definitely be coming back in the future. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Quiet girls weekend

We were looking for place to enjoy a pool, play board games and relax with friends. This great guest house was perfect for the three of us. Bed was very comfy. Pool was ready with lots ofLounging option on this beautiful property. It was a quick drive for dinner out. We had a great time here.

Beautiful setting and a really nice guest house. *PSA* Don’t rely on location distance provided on VRBO relative to your chosen destination. We had an event in Defiance. The map said it was 9 minutes away - I forget the distance in miles however, it was 30 minutes to the venue on dark, windy, back roads. Kind of put a damper on the evening knowing we’d have to navigate that drive. I believe it to be a map app error, NOT the fault of the owner. Had we know we would have chosen a different location so it’s a bit serendipitous that we found this spot. It was awesome!

It was a lovely guest house with the hot tub right outside. Very well kept with a nice large bed and they even have some board games available for use and a spare umbrella in case it rains while you are there, like it did for us. A lovely looking pool, although it was unfortunately having work done when we were there, so we were unable to use it.

Perfect for a quiet getaway

Cute little guest house tucked into a peaceful wooded setting. The house was perfect for 2 moms looking for a quick weekend getaway. We had everything we needed and the hot tub in the peaceful nature setting was perfect! It was nice to know the owner was nearby but we still had our privacy too!

Nice weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is not far from most things, yet offers seclusion. The hot tub was a great addition. The place was clean and decorated. The bed was very comfy. Just a few things to note. Kitchen is minimally stocked (no can opener, not many knives for food prep, no trash bags in trash cans) and the pool was not in the best shape. The pool vacuum cleaner was left at the bottom of the pool all weekend, but did not work as there were many leaves in the pool. The pool hot tub is drained and in need of repair. Overall the place was great. We were not inconvenienced in any way just a few things to note. Will be happy to return.

Sun & Swim & Unplug

I loved how much light there was inside the house. We had the pool all to ourselves, and it was so relaxing. The bedding was luxurious. The internet was slow, so we found that streaming TV or a movie wasn't an option, which was probably a good thing.

Great pool and hot tub

Pool, hot tub and large yard were great! The bed is very comfy and plenty of pillows. Futons were not very comfy, but a twin air mattress is provided if needed. Kitchen fridge was quite small for a group of 5 adults. Overall cleanliness, pool and hot tub deserve 4 stars.

Bumpy Beginning, Relaxing Finale

My husband and I wanted to take a writing retreat where we could get away for a few days to focus on our research. Unfortunately when we arrived the WiFi was down. The owner said they had a storm a few weeks ago that had knocked it out and they hadn’t had a chance to fix it. As a result, my husband and I spent the next two days at the cutest little coffee shop called Swallows Nest. The food was delicious and they didn’t mind us working in a corner of the cafe. Thankfully, the owner notified us on the second day that the WiFi was fixed and we were able to work from the VRBO during the rest of our stay. We appreciated the cleanliness of the hot tub and nearby pool. The setting was serene and relaxing.

Little Piece of Heaven

My daughter called this stay a blue and white slice of heaven, and I agree with her. This beautiful little guest house in a peaceful setting was exactly what this tired teacher needed at the end of a school year. We felt so pampered in this luxurious setting with hot tub and pool surrounded by nature yet close to every convenience. I hope to make this getaway a yearly tradition.

This is too great of property not to share with others. The guest house is extremely private even though right next to main house and it offers a lot of amenities. It is a great place to relax and celebrate and enjoy special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries.

It is also very close to many wineries, Purina Farms, Shaw Park and the Katy Trail. There is also about a mile of walking trails immediately accessible to the property for those that enjoys walking thru the woods and then coming back to cool off in the pool or relax in the hot tub.
