We recently stayed at the Pointe and our experience was not great. Pros: location was great with restaurants and shopping nearby. They have a great breakfast place on the first floor but we did not find this until the second day. It would have been great if they would have let us know about it when we made the reservation. Cons: The unit we were in smelt moldy and they had a humidifier running the whole time which we had to remember to empty. We found roaches in the unit which was gross. The showers had odd shower heads which made it hard for a taller person. We also found from talking to the locals that the building was forced to vacate due to structural issues which it looks like they solved by putting wooden supports on the balcony. This was not disclosed on the reservation and the pictures of the unit did not have the supports. I would not stay here again but would recommend the breakfast restaurant to any visitors to the area.

Our rental was clean and was exactly what we expected from listing. We enjoyed the amenities such as the pool and hot tub. Loved the short walk into Rosemary and to the beach. We walked every where and only used our vehicle to go get groceries. Only negative thing was the elevator to the rooftop was down so we hiked up the stairs with our pizza and games for family game night and wished we had the ease of an elevator being it was 5 flights. Other than that, everything was just what we needed.

Overall, we had a lovely stay at this property; the unit was spacious and had everything we needed for an enjoyable visit. We especially loved having access to a washer/dryer, the bikes, and pool. One thing that we did not realize based on the description of the listing is that while Rosemary Beach is a short walk away, this does not mean there is any public access to the beach in this area (everything is locked/gated). There is public access to Inlet Beach, so we went there daily instead. And, while you could walk to Inlet Beach, it is every bit of a 12-15 minute walk (along a busy road), so trying to do this with young children and beach gear is not practical, so driving a vehicle was necessary. We had a great time and would definitely enjoy coming back to this area someday.

Great Vacay Spot

We loved our stay at The Pointe. This was our second time to stay there. It is a short walk to the beach. They also have a nice pool. They responded very quickly to any questions I had! Be sure to try Big Bad Breakfast while you’re there!! It has great food!!

Online advertisement needs to be updated

We had a wonderful time, but it was not a smooth stress-free process. The online VRBO ad is wrong. There was no beach service nor were there any bikes to ride, as per the advertisement. Eventually we had help from the front desk assistant, who was wonderfully helpful and very friendly. She helped us attain bikes and beach service for 2. The beach service contract had been expired since 2023. An unpleasant surprise was waiting for us with a note on the counter to dump the dehumidifier when full. Well, this was approximately every 8 hours, and the bucket was quite heavy at full capacity. We do not know if this was the case in all units, but there seemed to be a definite humidity/moldy smell when we first got there. We both have asthma, and it was almost a deal breaker to deal with the mold, however as the stay went on the smell became less pungent.

All as expected

The unit is very clean and checkin allowed us in an hour early. The beds were very comfortable, the bikes were nice and a quick ride to rosemary beach. Kitchen has everything we needed and the property manager quickly addressed an issue with the dishwasher. My only suggestion would be a larger couch to fit more than 3 people. The unit sleeps 6 but the living room is small and the eating chairs inside and outside only have 4. Our group of 5 couldn’t sit comfortably together. Other than that the area is very well kept and great to get around on bikes.

Reviewer Comments: The place was renovated but not exactly luxury, it had. one primary suite with a nice bathroom and balcony , a nook where they had the bunk beds and a second room that did not have windows but had barn doors . It is ideal for a couple with one kid or maybe two couples where one couple is ok to have no natural light in the room when the doors are closed. The second bedroom was off the living room which was pretty tight. Both bathrooms were in the bedrooms There was no access to the bathrooms u less you went through a bedroom which makes it hard for the person using the bunk beds.The place was overall tight for our family of 4. It was clean but not immaculate. There was not enough paper towel or toilet papers or detergent for the length of the stay .. there was a coffee maker but no coffee pods .First night internet went out and the leasing company did not have co trop over it nor was there anyone available at the community to help so the internet was not reliableThe signal was also very bad, you would have to stay on balcony to call or receive calls . The chairs were in a place half a mile away from place and they were not easy to reach . You would have to sit half a mile away from your place . You would have to walk back and forth. No bikes were availableI will go back to the area and will use 30A exclusive because the person who booked it was so patient and kind , he gave us a lot of information and answers all our questions while booking. I will not stay at this place again The pool was nice and the jaccuzi they also ha da great breakfast pomace that was amazingThe location is great away from hustle and bustle but short walk to rose Mary beach

As pictured, there is an island with chairs so no kitchen table. The only downsides to this rental was the living space is very small with one couch and a chair and the outdoor courtyard can be quite noisy.

Wonderful condo for ambitious bikers

We really liked having the reserved beach chairs. We used the manager's concierge company to arrange transportation from ECP. Beach cruisers were included so we rode everywhere else. We even took the Timpoochee Trail all the way to Seaside!! It was a trek but worth it for the experience!!

The condo was very clean and the bedrooms were big. The workspace in the king bedroom was great for taking care of some early morning work. The condo amenities are incredible. I worked from the rooftop lounge during the day and then stayed for cocktails at sunset. The pool is awesome and the hot tub was even better at night. Start the day at Big Bad Breakfast and end it in front of the poolside fire place. This is the spot to stay if you are on a couples trip.

Excellent condo but poor service

The condo was beautiful, updated and very well decorated. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the condo was dirty. Food was left in the refrigerator and freezer, trash on the balcony and under the couch, dirty dishes in the cabinets, and dirty dishes in the dishwasher which did not work. When I notified management they did send someone to fix the dishwasher but did not offer to clean anything. Also, the condo lists that 2 chairs/1 umbrella come with the listing for the days you are there. When I called to add more to our order, I was told they were out of rentals so we did not even get ours that came with the listing. I questioned this twice with management and the first time their response was basically, “sorry but if they are out, they are out” and the next time I asked about a refund since I had to pay out of pocket with a different company, and they did not even respond. Again, we loved the condo and property at The Pointe but the cleaning service and managing company were very disappointing.

Review-The Pointe #26

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was ok but right next to the main road with busy traffic and construction. There was a baseball tournament which brought a lot of kids and families that were outside by the pool until late and they were very loud. The unit itself was nice but not up to the standards of $5500/week. The kitchen was tight and did not provide the amenities that we are used to when renting at this level. There were only enough plates, silverware and mugs for one use. The coffee maker was tiny and the lack of kitchen appliances and conveniences were extremely lacking.One of the blinds in the master bedroom needs repair and was difficult to open. The cable was low res and not HD. No movie channels provided and our internet went out for a few hours. Four adults in this space is tight. We would not rent this unit/complex again. On the plus side, Richard was wonderful to work with.
