Peaceful Porches, Big Water Views

Private, peaceful, and spacious. This property is one of very few with green spaces and wonderful shade trees right on the water. We provide a large hammock, bikes, gas grill, among many other amenities. The private dock has power and water, and will accommodate several boats for tie up.
There is plenty of parking. A large boat with truck and trailer can be securely parked right next to the house, well off the road.
There are cameras on the outside of the house to check for damage from weather, and see if the garbage people have run. The cameras stay disarmed, except for those purposes.
This house is not child proof. No children under six years of age.

Great Location

The view was perfect-watching the boats from the deck. Lots of fish and a couple of crabs caught from the pier. Spacious and just what needed.

Perfect getaway

This was a perfect getaway. The property was on the water, which made for perfect mornings and evenings to enjoy the day. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of room to spread out, just a wonderful place.

Beautiful East End Bay Side Retreat

Wonderful home well located with boat dock and gorgeous water views from expansive covered porch, . Quiet, well maintained house surrounded by pine trees and shrubbery. Beautifully decorated, perfect for our vacation getaway. Hosts extremely helpful. Highly recommend this location

Dauphin Island

The property has a view of the bay and easy access to the bird sanctuary and other birding sites. It's easy to explore the neighborhoods and the restaurants are close by. It's a delightful barrier island. The property is well stocked and it was very nice to have a grill to cook. A great place to unwind.

Everything was just as described. Big shout out to our hostess Julie. She did an outstanding job with every detail. She was always available for questions and advice for the area. Definately enjoyed our time there. Hope to return again sometime soon.

Island Oasis

We loved our stay in this secluded, beautiful, clean home. The host was great and the sunsets from the huge covered deck were absolutely gorgeous. We watched a dolphin in the bay right off the boat dock. We fished from the dock almost every day. I can’t say enough about this home. We loved it so much we’re already booked for next year.

Great waterfront home on Dauphin Island.

We loved our week at on Dauphin Island. This is our first stay on the east end of the island, at a home that is on the water on the north side. Beautiful home, well equipped and perfect for our visit. Lovely deck overlooking the water, a dock for fishing, everything you need to make the most do the island. The home is quiet, comfortable and convenient to everything. We rented a golf cart, rode our bicycles and enjoyed time on the beach. Everything about the property and our stay was just ideal.

Dauphin Island

We stayed at peaceful porches during our vacation to Dauphin island and could not have been more pleased. The location was ideal for our family as it was within minutes from the beach but the home offered a dock on the bay side. This was perfect for my son and husband who are avid fisherman. They caught countless fish and not just croakers. The home was clean and provided everything we needed. The porch was indeed peaceful and offered meaningful relaxation. Julie was great to communicate quickly and answer questions.

This place was perfect for my little group. I was wanting to plan a carefree, relaxing vacation and this hit the spot. We fished, took advantage of the bikes, and just enjoy the island. Great place to stay! I highly recommend.

Almost Perfect for us!

We were very pleased with everything, and had a great visit. We caught a lot of fish and the weather turned out much better than the forecasts. Just a couple of small suggestions: 1. Could have used a couple of towels bars in the bathrooms. 2. Nightlight and power at the dock was not working (we think) (the breaker stayed tripped), but we attributed this to the recent storm, so no big deal.
