Beautiful condo with beautiful views

The condo was just as listed. It was clean and had amazing views. Our family had a wonderful time and were very sad to leave!

Good location but overpriced

Overall this was an okay condo. Some pros: beautiful view of gulf, steps from beach, bathroom in each bedroom. Cons: considering price, this place could have been more updated. Furniture and appliances old. Mattresses worn out. Other places we have stayed at provided more basic necessities such as dishwasher pods.

We have stayed in the Belle Mer building on five separate occasions, but this was our first time in this particular unit. While the cleanliness was good, the condo lacked several basic items we’ve always had in other VRBO properties. The blankets and bedding were very light, and there were no additional blankets available beyond what was already on the beds. Basic cleaning supplies—such as a mop or vacuum—would have been helpful to maintain the space during our stay. There were also a few maintenance issues. The master shower has visible mold. The entrance to the condo needs to be sealed; even when closed, you can see cracks around the door and feel a breeze. One of the biggest challenges, however, was the noise. From around 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day, there was construction happening on the wall directly next to the unit and above it. On days when red flags were posted at the beach, we had to leave the condo because the noise was so loud. There were no mid-day naps for the kids. When you go on vacation, you expect to be able to relax in your room, and unfortunately that wasn’t possible during this stay.

Holiday Retreat

Our family enjoyed staying at this beach front condo. Upon arrival Southern Rentals was able to immediately resolve issues with the Halo Water Alert System. It was clean and spacious for the six of us. The beach was a little chilly most days, but managed a couple of days on the beach. There are plenty of activities close by to enjoy. We visited the Gulf Breeze Zoo, museums in Pensacola, and shopping at the Silver Sands Outlet Mall. We will be back for another family retreat.
