Cottage on Clarks Creek

The Cottage on Clarks Creek welcomes you. Jyoti and Michael’s newly built, secluded abode is nestled in the woods just steps away from an immaculate watershed creek. The lodge consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath with not only a shower but separate jacuzzi tub, plus another ½ bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with all the appliances.

On the property, for your use, is a creekside, fully screened in, (not kid friendly) meditation room that is suspended right above the flowing water. The perfect spot to relax, have a meal or morning coffee. Mountain water flows through the creek making it pristine for fishing, rock stacking or floating. The Appalachian trail and Fly Fishing areas are around 1 mile from the property.

Between your getaway and the creek lives two fireplaces, one large stone fireplace with built-in seating, and the other is a smaller creekside fireplace.

Jyoti and Michael created a quiet, zen space intended for a romantic and relaxing getaway, we live next to the cottage. We will respect your privacy. If you are looking to party this is not the place for you.

Hershey Park is 28 miles and 35 minutes drive from the cottage..

This is a charming property off the beaten path, yet with easy access to Harrisburg. The rooms are comfortable and the coffee was good. The addition of the meditation room and path to the creek makes this a perfect place to relax and forget the world. The creek keeps up a gentle, lulling babble that urges you to sit and stay. We’d be happy to come back just for that.

We had an amazing stay at this property. The home is tucked away in a quiet rural setting, yet still only about a 30‑minute drive to Hershey and Harrisburg, which made it the perfect balance of peaceful and convenient. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming—right from the start they made us feel completely at home. The house sits right along a beautiful creek, and one of our favorite parts of the stay was the meditation room perched just above the water. It’s such a calming, relaxing space that you can’t help but unwind in.If you’re looking for a place that offers serenity, comfort, and genuinely thoughtful hosts, this is a wonderful choice. The Cottage on Clarks Creek is an amazing place to stay. If you love the quietness of the country and listening to Peeper frogs at night, this is the place for you! Michael was a great host. He takes care of the cottage and the grounds around it to make it a beautiful and peaceful getaway.
