The Milk House at Nittany Meadow Farm

Stay on the farm! Enjoy the natural beauty of Nittany Meadow Farm during your stay in Centre County. Located minutes from State College and Penn State, this unique one-bedroom cottage was the original milk house at historic Nittany Meadow Farm. The cozy cottage offers a kitchen, 1 bathroom, a queen-size bed and living room. We can provide an air mattress in living room for 2 additional guests. During your stay, we’ll introduce you to our goats, who will beg you for treats and make you smile.

Nittany Meadow Farm is a working goat, beef and pig farm, and we live on the property in the main farmhouse, and also rent the three-bedroom Wagon Shed. We’re available if you need something or want to visit the animals!

The Milk House is set in a perfect spot to access all a parent of a Penn State Student needs. We loved its quick access to campus and quiet location.

Tara was welcoming and shared her slice of heaven with us, included us in the morning routine of feeding/caring for the animals, and allowed us the freedom to roam her grounds at our leisure. The MILK house was warm, inviting, had all the facilities, was clean and spacious.

Super fantastic location on a goat farm complete with goat yoga and assorted other furred and feathered friends. The cottage was super clean and nice and had everything you could possibly want or need. Tara is terrific, great communication. Loved the whole experience!

The Milk House was the PERFECT place to stay for a quiet weekend getaway in the State College area. With extremely easy access to both the Penn State campus and historic Boalsburg, you can’t go wrong with the location. The Milk House had everything we needed to have a very comfortable stay! Outstanding!

Perfect stay for the two of us. We had so much fun hanging out the the goats, chickens, cattle and the cutest little pigs. Hosts were great and house was clean and comfy.

Short getaway

If you want to stay out in the countryside but still only minutes from State College, check out the Milk House. We were greeted by a rooster and a few chickens as we arrived. And you can schedule a visit with the baby goats during your stay as well. The property is small but very cozy. A great place to simply rest and recharge.

Perfect place for a football weekend

The property is close to State College without being in the middle of the chaos. The property was clean and charming. Having the hotel nearby for takeout was convenient, as well. Tara was very communicative.
