Excellent communication with our host. This is a charming little home. Meets our needs, 4 friends traveling to Erie for the wine harvest weekend, great to have our own bedrooms and bathrooms. Other than wonky internet (we weren’t there that much so it was no big deal) our stay was perfect!

Great location with several towns nearby for dinner and drinks. Great that each bedroom had bathrooms. Kayaks for lake adventures. Large communal area for watching football or movies.

An Easy Weekend Away

We had a very nice, relaxing weekend. We had more than enough space for 7 adults to stay and get ready for a wedding nearby. Plenty of bathrooms which was super helpful. Well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful view of the lake.

Great weekend

This house was absolutely perfect for 4 couples and a weekend away. The view from the porch was amazing. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. This house is set up for hanging out and relaxing. Very close to many drivable places to go. We will absolutely be back for another visit. Thank you for sharing your great vacation home!

A Wonderful Stay!

We spent 4 nights here and it just wasn't enough time! (Unfortunately work called us back home too soon.) My husband, son and I loved our stay, and for us there was plenty of room to spread out inside and outside for the three of us. We looked at some smaller rentals, but just loved everything this one had to offer. And it lived up to it's online description. We had everything we needed, and some things we didn't even get a chance to use. And it was so clean too! I would definitely recommend it for your Chautauqua Lake vacation!

Perfect location

This was the perfect location for a family get away. The house was plenty big and the kids loved the game room. They also enjoyed the use of the kayaks. The house was located close to Erie & Buffalo and the neighborhood was quiet.

perfect getaway for family get together

For the price, you can't beat the place to stay at with a large family. We had multi generational group that included 5 adults and 2 kids. There was something to do for all ages and neat places nearby for the entire family.

Nice house for a family stay

The house was fantastic for our family vacation. The bedrooms were all separate from one another, so there was a little privacy for everyone. Each bedroom also had its own bathroom, which was nice. There was plenty of parking for our three cars, and our family loved the outdoor activities (grill, hammocks, darts) despite the rainy weather. Because there were 10 of us, we did have to run out for additional supplies (trash bags, dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, paper towels) because we went through what was provided pretty quickly. Otherwise, the house had plenty of plates and cooking utensils. It also was conveniently located, with the local grocery being just a few miles down the road. Overall, it was a very comfortable house and we would happily stay there again.

Great Lake House!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Jay’s lake house and would highly recommend this place to others. My boyfriend and I came for a weekend trip to see the eclipse, not knowing a lot about Chautauqua and we were pleasantly surprised by the house and the area as a whole. The neighborhood is very peaceful and we enjoyed the lake view. The house was very clean. We especially liked using the renovated kitchen and having coffee and tea on the front deck. This would be a great house for a group and we hope to visit again to use it as such.

Roomy Lake House

We loved the lake house. Particularly that every bedroom had it’s own bathroom. Fire pit and game room were put to good use. They had kayaks but we weren’t there long enough to use them. Great view of the lake.
