Historic Carriage House at the Church Point Manor

The luxurious, French-styled Carriage House is a 3-bedroom villa at the historic Church Point Manor (built in 1860). With a first-floor, King-bed room and two upstairs, queen-bed rooms, the Carriage House can comfortably host up to 6 guests. Every bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, it’s own thermostat and central A/C and heating unit, and a fully-stocked coffee bar. The front door opens to an intimate and cozy foyer and dining area and continues into an expansive living room with a 50" TV and a wood burning fireplace. Three arched carriage doors open to the outside, allowing guests to enjoy an indoor-outdoor space from the foyer or living room.

Enjoy a match of tennis or pickle ball on our secluded tennis court, or play a round of bocce ball on our charming grounds (equipment included). Relax for the evening on the covered porch just 20 feet away from our 300-year-old, award-winning (yes, really!) willow oak tree.

One of the most beautiful and comfortable VRBO properties we have stayed at. Tyler and Kate could not have been more responsive and also incredibly nice to us! The planned in advance reservation turned into an unexpected close family member passing away in Chesapeake just 2 days prior, so we appreciated how everything went smoothly and no added stress for us and could return to the property after some rough days. Definitely will try to book for future visits to the area.

Such a wonderful property. As beautiful as the photos and the trail and dock were my favorite part - luckily we had some nice weather while we were there! Tyler and Kate were so helpful and accommodating. We will absolutely stay here again when we’re in town visiting family.

Sister’s Trip

The absolutely perfect place for our sister’s get away. We have been meeting for special occasions for many years and this is one of the loveliest by far. Great for walking, we all loved the hiking trail,close to restaurants and the beach.Go to Mike Hill’s Love Song for a wonderful dinner.

Wonderful Cottage

Our stay at this charming cottage was wonderful. We all were able to relax in a quite setting, with wonderful accommodation and beautiful grounds to explore. The cottage is located in a safe and easy to travel through community with amenities close by. You will not be disappointed staying in this home away from home.

Delightful Get Away

The Carriage House is a delightful stay while in the Virginia Beach area. Wonderful accommodations with an Old World flare, quaint French Cottage. Close to shopping, restaurants, First Landing park, Ocean Front & Naval Bases. I recommend this VRBO to everyone. All will enjoy this serene setting & beautiful grounds.

Definitely a 5 Star Experience

After staying here, you will definitely want to return! This beautifully located and maintained property went above and beyond expectations! More than accommodating and so peaceful! A huge perk was that each bedroom had a full bathroom. Absolutely no negatives just a 100% positive experience!

This property provides privacy, quiet and plenty of room for our family of four with teenagers. The quiet nature trail and tennis court is a nice bonus. The house was well decorated and accommodated all our needs.
