We loved having a private pool on site. The house was roomy and beautifully decorated. Only problem was that we couldn’t get hot water in the only tub. A little disappointing because we had a four year old with us.

We loved the location and the backyard oasis.

The private pool, hammock, fire pit and abundant seating spots in the back yard made it that much more enjoyable as we utilized them. The layout of the house was perfect and airy. And the location was great with the two easy gate accesses off main 98 and scenic not far from some of the restaurants we frequent with our stays at Miramar beach. Loved it!

Great Spot !!

The backyard is amazing ! Everything is a 10 minute drive If your going in April heat the pool ..it was 84 in the water so beat the cold mornings and nights Beach access was a little confusing but figured it out .. the walk to the beach is about 10-15 minutes but there are chairs you can rent to make it easy .. would defiantly book again Things wrong - filter for fridge, and low pressure for dish sink but hey that’s a win in my book!!

Beware! All is not what it seems!

First of all, let me say that the house and property was as pictured. However, this where the nightmare begins
We paid to have the pool heated and upon arrival it was freezing cold (ocean water felt warmer than the pool). Reached out to guest services at Southern Vacation Rentals and they stated that the pool would take 24 hours to get 10 degrees warmer than air temperature; at this point it had been 24 hours and it was cold enough to do the polar bear plunge. Day 2; pool still frigid so I reached out to guest services again and got the same response and that the “property manager” would check into it. Day 3; still frigid and they decide finally there is an issue. Long story short, they ended up refunding the fee to heat the pool for the week because it wasn’t going to be repaired during our stay. Here’s where it goes even farther south,
 Several days after returning home, we received an email stating that we were being charged $1,000 for a cracked ceramic cooktop that was damaged. The cooktop was damaged prior to our arrival and was that way when we walked in the house on day 1! After multiple calls to Southern Vacation Rentals they are not reversing the charges and standing behind the property manager’s word which is complete and total horse crap. Any intelligent person would be able to see that the crack had been there for some time and looked like someone had tried to repair it. Check out the BBB website and you’ll find other complaints from people with similar situations and bogus damage charges. I wish I had checked there before booking this property and would’ve booked elsewhere.

AMAZING VACATION!

Beautifully decorated & very clean home. The back yard was so quaint and cozy. The pool was perfect and just as enjoyable at night with the lights on. Short walking distance to the beautiful beach with very easy access. Parents, grandparents, and 2 small children ALL enjoyed our stay. Can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking to visit the area!!

This House is Beautiful

The house was perfect for my family of 5! We loved how clean and beautiful it was. The finishes were updated and very nice. My kids enjoyed the pool and Lovely backyard! We grilled and had a wonderful time! I give this place 2 thumbs up!!!

Perfect!

The pictures of the house are great, but they truly don’t do the property justice. The home was immaculate, the pool was clean, and the backyard is a relaxing oasis. With children, we were very appreciative of the chime that signals when the back door is opened. It’s a fast walk to the beach too! My one suggestion to future guests with children is to bring some plastic dishes for use on the back patio when using the BBQ and eating meals outside.

This property was the best!!!!

I have been traveling to the Destin area for almost 30 years. Last year, we were there at three different properties. The location of the house could not have been better. The house was comfortable and well-equipped for day-to-day living. The appliances, utensils, glassware, linens etc...were all high-end. The owners did an extremely good job selecting furniture and decorating the house to be classy. The photos online depicted the amenities accurately. We enjoyed the fire pit and the pool daily. As for property management, they were extremely kind and responsive. Our interactions with the staff while getting into the property and answering questions about the property made us feel important and welcome. We will definitely be back!!!!

Amazing house!!

This property exceeded our expectations!! Very spacious, clean and modern!! The backyard was absolutely incredible and the pool was perfect!! It is a short walk to the private beach entrance!! We brought a wagon and it was super convenient!! I highly recommend this property!!
