Island Time is an enchanting oceanfront cottage perfect for couples

This charming cottage is the perfect getaway in the Outer Banks, especially for couples. Located in the quiet village of Hatteras, far from the tourist crowds of northern OBX, it offers a peaceful tranquility by the ocean.

Enjoy the views from the rooftop deck; see the mesmerizing ocean and dolphins playing on the surface of the water during the day. Enjoy a drink and view the most amazing sunsets in the evening. Bright stars accompany the nights from this vantage point.

Island Time is a free-standing cottage on stilts with parking for one vehicle underneath. The cottage is small so we have tried to maximize the space in an efficient yet tasteful way. The bed has a new Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress with a gel mattress topper. It's comfy! Linens are provided.

Beach chairs and body boards are provided so you can immediately enjoy the warm sunshine on the beach. Bath towel sets are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

The kitchen is well-stocked so you'll have what you need to prepare meals. Charcoal grills and picnic tables are provided on the grounds for those of you who grill-masters. Local restaurants are known for their great-tasting fresh seafood.

Wifi is provided so you can stream movies or TV shows on the smart TV from your favorite entertainment platforms.

We are new owners and we love this little oceanfront cottage. We're anxious for you to experience all the reasons we love the Outer Banks!

The view was excellent and the beach access was among the best of any on the beach. The nice thing of the cabanas is you don’t hear anyone stomping around over your head or around you. No loud music or noise of any kind. I plan on going back next year and will stay in the same place

Really enjoyed our long weekend getaway at Island Time! The Cabana was clean and perfect for our stay. A few minutes walk to the beach with several eating and shopping locations nearby. Already looking forward to our next trip to Hatteras!

Island Time was the perfect place for my wife and I to have a great vacation on the beach. This clean and affordable cabana is the perfect size for two and it is only thirty seconds from the beach. I will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful time

Great little cabana on a fantastic island. Really enjoyed the location, and everything about our trip. So nice to be right by the beach and have a cozy place to retreat to when needed. Hosts were great. Would definitely stay here again!

I loved the spaces. I’m sure of the wind was less i would have been up top deck! It’s nice they have picnic tables and metal coal grills. Pretty awesome. No complaints, I fished mostly.

We loved the cottage even though the stay was cut short because of Hurricane Erin. The owners reached out immediately upon hearing about the mandatory evacuation notice. We would definitely recomend this host.

The cabana was just as described. It was tiny but had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It is so close to the ocean. We walked there barefooted so we didn't have to carry our shoes. We watched the sun rise and set over the ocean from the top balcony. The owner Anthony answered my questions quickly. If we ever come back to the outerbanks, we would stay here again.

Perfect

Great location on the farthest reaches of OBX, and the little cabana colony is a great place to stay with a short set of stairs over the dune to the beach. The cabana is big enough to offer all that a couple needs for a comfortable stay, and we enjoyed the artwork on the walls.

Quaint and Great!

House was located about 300 yards from the beach, the community had its own entrance to the beach. Walked up to the third deck and was able to see the ocean and just sit outside on the bistro table. Covered parking was convenient and it was located super close to the grocery store, coffee shop and the ferry to Ocracoke Island. Overall it was a great place to stay, highly recommend!

Charming Condo

This was just the right size for me. It was nicely decorated, comfy bed, plenty of charge ports. There was a handy handle in the shower to hold while stepping in/out of tub. I especially loved the top balcony, where you can sit and listen to the ocean, while star gazing. A perfect place to stay right in the ocean.
